We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in December of 2007. We found it to be a great location for seeing the Everglades. The room was clean and the rate we got online was very reasonable. The general manager, Sunny, and the staff were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

We stayed at the Travelodge in Florida City and absolutely loved it! So much so, in fact, that this is the first time I have ever written a motel review! Friendly, speedy service at check-in and check-out with Dave at the front desk, who gave great suggestions for a place to eat. The rooms are big and clean, and the whole place has a cool, tropical island atmosphere with cute grass-covered tables placed around the property. Will definitely stay there again!

Excellent accommodation, very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had good choice and was an added bonus. We had stayed in various motels in Florida which ranged in quality but this was by far the best. Well placed for visiting Everglades and onward travel to Keys. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there to visit the southern part of the Everglades National Park. Florida City is the closest you can stay.
It is a motel, well kept and spotless clean, staff is nice, good deal for the money (60 USD/night). Walls are thin, so you might hear the TV or snoaring of your neighbours.
The pool is small and provides no shade. The breakfast room is being renovated, so the unimpressive breakfast was provided in improvised buffet normal hotel rooms, which is o.k.
