Service and location were good, only demerits were the facility seemed dated and somewhat old for a Ramada. Local good restauarants were limited.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk was courteous and efficient. Room maintenance was prompt and complete. All of this at a great value! Includes a large Continental breakfast selection, too!

was the answer from the girl at the reception, when I demanded an ashtray for our smoking-room.
"An ashtray? What is this? Never heard of that!" GREAT!!! Hundreds of questionmarks above her head!!!
After me explaining the use for an ashtray she looked at an old guy standing at the front-desk (maybe a clerk or so...) and after a small-talk she finally knew what I want. "We never had ashtrays!" she went on. An ashtray was promised by the old man and some time later it arrived.
Hey - in every smoking-room of motels we stayed at lots of vacations in the USA there were ashtrays in the room! First time we experienced something like that!

Room and bathroom were clean. No bug-attacks or anything similar. Fridge was too small. TV only had 20 stations - some didn't work and most of the ones which worked had a very bad picture.
Breakfast very good apart from the egg-conglomerate (I think it could/should be egg). Better add boiled eggs than this yellow stuff!
Good location to start for getting around (Everglades and more).

Clean pool and breakfast-area. Airconditioner very loud.

My husband and some friends drove down from the Orlando area and spent one night here before continuing on to Key West the following morning.
We chose this location because of its convenience to the Keys after a long evenings drive and as we were only going to stay a few hours we were not going to spend an arm and a leg on accommodation.
The room was large, had a king size bed, and a relatively clean bathroom. Although the room design is outdated and clearly from the 70's the effort has been made to have decent amenities, clean rooms and a few updated pieces here and there.
The lobby and breakfast area were being renovated when we were there but the breakfast was well stocked clean and plentiful.

Let's begin with the front desk staff that I found pleasant and attentive and with an ability to communicate which can be lost in SE Florida. The air conditioning in the rooms was very underpowered, left it on high the whole day and still not cool in the room in the evening, the rooms need upgrades on fixtures and bathroom, the walkways by the rooms are seedy and seem to be composed of paneling (looks like crap), and door to enter room and internal doors are in poor shape, rooms were clean, place is being remodeled in lobby but the whole place needs an overhaul, the poor area was clean, there are not many choices of hotels in this area so this may be a good choice among poor hotels

We visited this hotel from January 20 to 29th 2012. I was 6 months pregnant and travelled from the Caribbean along with my husband, 14 months olds son, my Mum and my best friend to Florida to do some major baby shopping.
We contacted the General Manager, mr. M. Waldo in advance since we wanted several items shipped to the hotel prior to our arrival. This was no problem at all and everything was delivered to us upon our arrival.
The room was spacious, clean and modern. The service overall was excellent! Everybody was very polite and always willing to help. Mr. Waldo came every morning during breakfast to our table to ensure we were having a pleasant stay. He even gave us a helping hand carrying all of our items from our car to our room after a full day of shopping.
Breakfast was a pleasant experience every morning. They offer a far bigger variaty than other (more expensive) hotels I've stayed at. Scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, bread, bagels, cereal, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices etc. etc. were all included in the hotel rate, which is relatively cheap. The hotel is also located in a great neighborhood, close to major stores, restaurants and even an outlet mall.
I would definitely stay again at this hotel, we truly had a blast!

On our return from the Keys, we stayed here for 1 night. The room is dark, paint is peeling frokm the wood trim. The door into the bathroom barely fits, there is no fan in the bathroom. Our a/c unit hums loudly off & on. The whole place needs to be remodeled. On the plus side, the tv is a newer model & there were toiletries in the room. Won't stay here again.
