This restaurant is divided into two parts. One one side is the King Richard Room and the other is known as "The Capri Side" which is more casual dining. For the past month, The Capri Side has been running some tantalizing specials to celebrate their 55th anniversary. Among them is the Tuesday night special of All You Can Eat spaghetti for $5.55. This includes soup or salad and garlic rolls. An amazing bargain that my friends and I have been taking advantage of for the past several weeks. However, I am at my wit's end with the service which is bordering on farcical and has been each of the THREE times we've gone. We have waited half an hour for drinks, 45 minutes for food, had to ask for bread and iced tea refills. One night the order was entirely wrong (steak instead of spaghetti?!?!) and this past week, we got someone else's check. When I pointed the error out to the server, she tried to show me that the mistake was because the amounts were similar. What? I would be inclined to cut her some slack but on every occasion the place wasn't even half full and by my observation, she was not working more than three tables. It's for this reason I will hesitate going back. Food along with competent service is part of the enjoyment. As I have said before about this restaurant, service needs to be addressed as it ruins a perfectly lovely experience no matter how good the food or bargain.
