We've been to Fernandina many times, and always looked at this little place, but until our latest trip never went in. We have been missing out! We we're in FB camping over the Memorial day weekend, and decided to have lunch. We shared an order of the fried green tomato stack and although a little greasy the taste was great, which promted my wife to order the fried green tomato BLT. The freid green tomatoes, on chargrilled bread with bacon lattuce and a fried egg. She enjoyed it so much that we went back on Sunday and both had the same thisng. I had the shrimp and grits, one of the better preparations of the southern favortie I've had, my only complaint is that it was a little salty, houwever that could have been from the andouille sausage. On my return trip as already said, I had the green tomato BLT, which was on a different bread this time but noon the less delicious. This will be a staple of our future trips to Fernandina in the future.
