We knew this quaint, romantic French restaurant was meant just for us when our waitress said she was bringing over some bread. My husband quickly replied, “Oh, we don’t want bread, thanks” to which she replied, “Are you gluten-free?!” YES!!! As two people with more than a few food allergies, we loved Le Clos for being attentive and progressive. They pointed out all of the delicious food that we could eat (and trust me, it was a lot!). With wine glasses full, modern jazz playing in the background, heat pumping through the vents on a chilly night, we felt as though we were tucked away in a historic, New Englandy tavern. Our food portions couldn’t be more perfect--they even split our soup for us--and tasted out of this world. The service was amazing: friendly, timely, and personal. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
