This was our first trip to La Mancha and we are delighted that my husband found it on tripadvisor. I couldn't find the menu online so can't remember the names of the dishes but we started with a cold tapas of meats, cheeses, olives, eggplant, zucchini, on and on. The four of us could not finish it. Two of us then chose the Grouper Mondragon with two large panko-crusted sea scallops on top. It was excellent. The vegetables served with it were delicious. My husband had the paella and was the least pleased with his dish. It wasn't bad but just different than what he has had in Spain. Our fourth had a chicken dish and she cleaned her plate. For dessert we shared a piece of tres leches cake which was good, not great, and a flan which was very good. The house cabernet was surprisingly good. We also had a bottle of cab from Napa (about $48) which was really good. One in our party doesn't like red wine but said she enjoyed this one. All in all, it was a very pleasant dinner and we will go back. Our server, Jose, was wonderful. Do not be thrown by the location next to a Days Inn and in a former Shoney's.
