“Hidden Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

We had an amazing experience! Food & service were outstanding! Staff was great & very friendly. We got a change to meet the chef.. our hats go out to him -- each bite was full of flavor! Would definitely dine there again when in the area!

“Great Choices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

I am glad that the owners decided to stay on Island! The food is amazing with choices unparalleled. You can fill up with just the Tapas! I am happy to return and know that I can trust this restaurant to bring our out of towns guests with certainty that the food and service is consistent and delicious!

“If You Liked 'Don Quixote' Downtown, You'll Enjoy This Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

The owners seem to have pretty much brought the old staff along with their menu from their previous restaurant, Don Quixiote in downtown Ferandina. Perhaps this is why they seem to have hit their stride in only a couple of weeks.

'La Mancha' offers a nice blend of primarily Spanish dishes and tapas, with a bit of a Portugese/Brazilian flair. this is some of the best and most unique cuisine Amelia Island has to offer. Don't expect fancy decor (it's a former Shoney's), but it's clean, bright and new--concentrating on the great dishes on on hand. Several nice and moderately price vegetarian plates are featured as well.

“Pleasant surprise practically next door to our hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

Driving to our hotel I noticed the old Shoneys was now La Mancha. Walked to get ameal for room. Immediately I was greeted by Eduardo who treated me as family. The goat cheese tapa was superb. The snapper with scallops excellent. Only problem no room for desert! Going there with my wife and daughter tonight!

“Glad they are back in business”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

The owner and the chef, previously of Don Quixote's on Center Street, are back in business on Sadler St as La Mancha. Excellent tapas, seafood and pasta. Anyone who loved the original Don Quixote's will love La Mancha.

Located in the old Shoney's restaurant, La Mancha, is a gem. Try the Ensalada Ciudad Real with fried goat cheese, beet chips, caramelized onions and homemade curry, honey mustard dressing. Also outstanding are the scallops or shrimp Mondragon and the Picanha a Palito, a sirloin with Spanish blue cheese sauce.
