“Great food and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

We've been several times - often before a production by the Amelia Community Theater. The food is great - especially the oysters - service is also great - cheerful and speedy.

“Cheap beer, wonderful sunset view, fabulous oysters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

The blue oysters are outrageous!, but they also have yummy hamburgers and fish tacos. The upstairs porch has a great view of the river where you often see dolphins cruise by. It is an ideal place to watch the sun set. They have drink and food specials each night and often have good music.

“Seafood Specialty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

Due to food allergies, I was limited to what I could order, so I chose the burger. It was cooked perfectly and was quite tasty.
I ordered the house special drink to go with it. It was refreshing and flavorful, but disappointingly served in a plastic cup. The upstairs offered a view overlooking the boats in the bay, but it was very windy, so you needed to secure any loose items to keep them from blowing away. This place is by no means fancy. But the staff is friendly and the food was good.

“On a cold, rainy afternoon...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014 via mobile

This place hit the spot. Overlooking the water and watching the trains come and go we had a wonderful lunch. Very attentive server with a great attitude. Their soup of the day was a spicy, brothy concoction with beans, tomatoes, onions, and plenty of spices. Perfect with the weather that day. I'd eat here again.

“Always a good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

Another place we visit often and with good reason.
The atmosphere is great - just a lively sports bar thing. Drinks are good and the food is great for a sports bar - albeit an upscale sports bar. If you visit Fernandina this is a must do.
