We had read rave reviews on tripadvisor and yes they are all true. We stayed in room 320 and it was very quiet. Our room had a comfortable king size bed, queen size sofa bed, chair, large screen tv, full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, table with two dining room chairs and a desk. This would be a wonderful place to bring your family. We were here on a Friday so there was Mexican night with complimentary appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful: great made to order omelet, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, grits, cereal, juices and delicious coffee. Kudos to the omelet chef who was such a charming lady and makes one terrific omelet. I came towards the end of breakfast and she must have made a lot of omelets before me but she still had a big smile on her face. I took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to the historic downtown area. The room was very clean and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
As a side note, we ate at Pablo's Mexican restaurant and also at the Salty Pelican. I would recommend those restaurants especially the Salty Pelican for seafood in particular their shrimp soup and the plate of oysters.

I'm happy to see your stay lived up to TripAdvisor hype! The omelettes are a recent addition to breakfasts - we're testing out responses and so far people love them! I really hope we keep them around. Vicki is the omelette chef and I love the smells in the lobby from the fresh omelettes!
