“Very good Bed and Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

This is a wonderful B and B. the service and food are wonderful. The 5:00 happy hour is superb and Ken pours a mean glass of wine with delicious tapas. The rooms have everything
you want in your home away from home down to your bathrobes and chocolate,
I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Amelia Island/Fernando Beach area.
Also price is very reasonable. There is one small criticism is Ken could be just a tad
less informal. You sometimes get a very curt answer on a question. We almost felt like
we were bothering him when we asked a question. Other than that absolutely stay here.

Room Tip: Room 12 is great the view is fun and the best porch.

Although we have reviewed this bed and breakfast before, we have just returned from yet another wonderful stay.

A Five Star experience : 1) Excellent Hosts, Bob, Shannon and Lee
2) Great Location - Restaurants/Beach
3) Shannon's unbeatable Gourmet Breakfasts
4) Beautifully furnished
5) Spotlessly Clean

We are already looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed one night but enjoyed it completely. Will definetly plan on coming back again. Conveinent location with a very nice room. Breakfast was outstanding. We stayed for a local event so did not get the full flavor of the experience. But again enjoyed it completely. It was the first bed-breakfast we have stayed at, so it offered a different experience than the standard hotel.

The Addison House on Amelia Island is the ultimate Bed and Breakfast. My financee and I became engaged on the beautiful porch in the beautiful courtyard during the wonderful breakfast that Shannon, Lee and Bob prepare.

Everything about this place is first class from the linens to the softness of the water in the showers to the hospitality of the innkeepers.

This is one of my very favorite places to get away from it all.

The Inn is close to the beach and to the Intercoastal Waterway. Best of both worlds.

Can't wait for another occasion to visit the Addison House.

Room Tip: All the rooms are decorated differently and unique. There are no bad rooms

We just spent our 35th Anniversary at The Addison on Amelia Island, we arrived early on Sunday and were able to check in with no problem. While my husband was parking the car, I was making my way to our room # 8 facing Ash Street, and the beautiful courtyard with the fountain. I passed the kitchen and saw the cookies cooling beside the oven, the house smelled wonderful. Lee gave me a cookie, yummy. We stayed for two days and everything was wonderful. Bob is so nice and gave us good information on things to do and places to eat. Love Lulu's Restaurant. We borrowed beach chairs and towels for a day at the beach. Would recommend to everyone and can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: No fitness center or pool, but they had bikes and the beach was right around the corner.

Great experience! . Super cute courtyard with great seats for breakfast and happy hour. Food was excellent and the innkeepers took fantastic care of all of my 12 guests. From special parking for our older family to beautiful flowers in our room, Bob, Lee and Shannon made it all happen. Location is fantastic for exploring town and all its shopping and dining. we will be back! Btw...linens, towels and the beds are fantastic!
