It was such a great experience, we stayed an extra day! Great breakfast after waking up to the sunrise over the Atlantic Wonderful beach, pleasant happy hour, excellent local restaurants and then falling asleep to the sound of the surf. We can't wait to return....

Room Tip: Ocean front, third or fourth floor. SE corner room.

As a Select Registry Inn I expected EPL to be excellent and it did not disappoint. Service by staff and owners was impeccable. Happy hour goodies by cocktail chef were wonderful and breakfast was good. Beach was great. Only issues were rooms were small for price and wardrobes were inadequate for hanging clothes.

Room Tip: We had room 19 which was a king bed and faced ocean. However I'd stay in a less expensive room n...

My wife Nicole and I were looking for quiet, romantic getaway for her birthday. She looked online and found the Elizabeth Point Lodge, we had never heard of it, nor did we do much research on it, just packed and left. WOW. I mean,....WOW. Breathtakingly beautiful, extremely clean, Elizabeth Point Lodge turned out to be EXACTLY what my wife and I were looking for. Resting on the Atlantic, our mornings were greeted with an incredible sunrise, beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and sea grass lined sand dunes. As great as all of that was, it pales in comparison to the professionalism, kindness, and courtesy of the staff. EVERYONE who works there took part in making our weekend fabulous. Attention to detail, impeccable service, and a general sense of welcome surrounded us throughout our stay, so much so, that my wife and I are already planning a return trip. We were B&B "virgins", and could not have asked for a better first experience than the one we had at the Elizabeth Point Lodge.

Wow, where do I begin? We have loved the Elizabeth Point Inn since our first visit there a decade ago. I have not been a Trip Advisor contributor too long. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Elizabeth Point Inn to those individuals who want to get away from it all and have the beach literally at your doorstep. After 18 visits here, my opinion of the place has not changed. It is still an exceptional accommodation with an exceptional staff. While we did not stay at the Miller Cottage this time (we have been there five times), our room on the fourth floor was a great choice. Since I am beachcombing most of the day looking for shark's teeth (yes, I have found thousands), we do not need a room facing the beach since I have been on the beach all day. The sunsets are beautiful and we are happy with our western view.

The Innkeepers, David and Susan Caples, have it right. They are gracious hosts and maintain a very friendly atmosphere throughout your stay. Their staff is exceptional as well. The General Manager, Olivia Hoblit and her staff, Melody, and many more are most attentive and caring. During our last stay, we wanted to go to two great restaurants on the island. Unfortunately, there was no room for a Saturday reservation at one of them. Without prompting, they switched the restaurant times and we were able to dine at both. Another great feature is having coffee 24/7; a happy hour from six to seven o'clock in the evening with fine wines, beer and at times smoked salmon, meatballs, crab, along with a fruit and cheese plate; and you can even order lunch or snacks while relaxing on the beautiful wrap-around porch with rockers and round tables. Why does someone come back 18 times? It is the great location, great accommodations and wonderful memories. Yes, this wonderful Inn has been recognized by some great travel magazines such as "Conde Nast", but we do not need to read a magazine to return again and again.

Room Tip: Have stayed in many rooms at Elizabeth Point Inn. If you want to save some, pick a room facing the w...

What a beautiful B&B! The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the location on the beach is perfect. We stayed at both the main house and the tradewinds suite. Both rooms were very clean with great views of the sunrise. The tradewinds is a perfect honeymoon suite.
I would definitely recommend this B&B!

I was very fortunate to stay for two nights on a recent business trip. My partner and I arrived late in the evening and were given a brief tour of the property and our rooms. Being a sailor I loved the old Herreshoff sailing photos and decor. The staff was top notch and very friendly and responsive to our needs, but not intrusive. I agree with previous review about the lack of a/c in the 4th floor hall and in the dining room, but my room cooled off quickly once I adjusted the a/c. Breakfast was very good (loved the warm coffee mugs) and we got to briefly enjoy the porch and the complementary lounges on the beach after a run. Also, we were welcomed to use the Inn even after we checked out, thus we got to run on the beach at lunch before changing back into business casual attire for an afternoon of meetings. Being that most of my business travel means staying in a Hampton Inn or a Marriott property, my brief time here was a wonderful treat. Hope to be back and I am recommending it to business associates as a great weelend getaway from Atlanta.

We were looking for a bed & breakfast for the night and by accident passed by, liked the house and got a room there for two nights (we would have stayed longer if there had been space).
This is one of the most outstanding places we have been. The rooms are very clean and you see that they were furnished with passion and love. We switched off the ac and opened the windows to listed to the surf during the night. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was great (breakfast, apero at 6 o'clock, and dinner (small selection but excellent)). The hosts are really outstanding and should be an example for all the other b&bs, hotels and inns.
Very highly recommended.
