“Good location, quiet hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel. Our choice was made after using tripadvisor, like usually. We were very happy to find an hotel near I75 and no so far from 41 . Location is perfect, very easy for visiting Fort Myers, Naples, all beaches of the Gulf Coast and Islands. There is a mall"Miromar" at 20 min walking and some restaurants are also near the hotel and around the mall.
Rooms are comfortable and quiet. The swimming pool is very very small, not like on the picture of Hampton website...
Breakfasts are like in others Hamptons , not very natural, not very good, but free .... just to begin a day , before finding a good restaurant for lunch.

“Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We had to go to FGCU for an audition, so we needed a comfortable and quiet room for my son to relax and sleep well in before heading over to the school the next day. The location to the university was very convenient. The rooms were very clean with up-to-date furnishings and comfortable beds and lots of pillows. The only negative to the sleep quality was being able to hear the doors of other rooms slam (loudly) due to the mechanism used to shut them. The staff is very friendly and quite helpful. We were looking for a Carrabbas for dinner and the guy who checked us in didn't know of one closer than a 15 minute drive. Turns out there was one at the mall one exit north. He did, however, recommend a great alternative, Marsala's. It was delicious and quite popular. Breakfast was average, but plentiful with many choices. I'm an egg person and theirs were not good. Everything else, however, looked pretty tasty - waffles, muffins, fruit, cereals...nice selection. We only stayed one night, but it was by far a much more enjoyable experience than I've had in other comparable chains. Great job in Estero!

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a room away from other travelers so you won't hear the doors slamming early in the...

“Better than expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This hotel is just off the I-75 exit near the big outlet mall in Estero. We had wanted to stay at the Hyatt (the one in the other mall on Tamiani) but it was booked with Barbara Bush's conference. This hotel was the next closest to our friend's home. It turned out to be an excellent value. The room was large and well-designed as was the bathroom. Breakfast was free as was the Internet. We were on the first floor and there was a laundry ($2) across the way--just in time for the 5th day of travel! All in all, it fit the bill.

Room Tip: We were put in a first floor (Ground Flr) room and I worried about headlights, slamming car doors bu...

“Great staff, rooms, and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

I loved this hotel but It wasn't perfect. Since the purpose of a hotel is for sleep, let me start there. The mattresses were very nice, but my husband needs a FIRM mattress for his bad back. Unfortunately, these were not quite firm enough for him. I like a firm mattress also, but nonetheless enjoyed comfortable sleeping. I've come to believe no hotel has a mattress firm enough for us! The pillows: Excellent!! this is where many hotels fail, but not the Hampton! We had 3 pillows on each of the queen beds, and all were a different firmness which allowed me to find one to my liking. The curtains closed completely, allowing for a dark room in which to sleep. The AC/heating unit was quiet. Although I heard the frig cycle on and off, it didn't really interfere with my sleep. Our room was right next to the elevator - that too could be heard but again was not sufficient to interfere with our sleep. And we didn't hear hardly any "hall" noise caused by other people. One other minor down side: I am short and the shower head was so high I could not reach it to change its settings. Thankfully my husband is 6'+! The bathroom mirror is also on the high side but 'workable.' The staff were A+! We arrived at midnight, and the clerk on duty asked us our interests, and then whipped out a map and started highlighting areas/attractions we might be interested in! We asked where we could buy water in the morning, and she not only told us, but grabbed 2 out of the sale frig and gave 'em to us - Free! Breakfast was very good - omelettes, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, waffles, fruit bowl, and fresh fruit. Kept well stocked. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, they offer complimentary Beer, Wine,Pop, and snacks - meatballs and chips and salsa the night we were there. Although just off of I-75, there was no road noise.Within a mile, there was a grocery store, drugstore, restaurants, and Miromar Outlets. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: South rooms look over a cypress forest - completely secluded

“Best Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We spent seven nights at this Hampton Inn in Estero. The staff was so helpful, arranging an all-day excursion and even recommending a near-by nail salon. They all appear to enjoy their jobs at this Hotel even though they were always very, very busy. Loved the location (between Fort Myers and Naples), access to a great outlet mall, great restaurants and several beaches. This place is easy to recommend!

Room Tip: We had a King Suite at the end of the hall...quiet and restful.
