“Can understand why the premium”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

This is the first Hampton Inn I have stayed at and I was pleasantly surprised. I do understand somewhat why there is a "premium" to pay for these hotels. I'm not 100% sure but I think this place was renovated, because parts of the bathroom looked older like the shower head. But no biggy really. The bed was super comfortable, staff was super keen to assist, was expecting a flat screen lcd or plasma but got a normal tv. The fruit at breakfast was just devine, all the food was fresh and they restocked promptly when it ran out. Though, I thought the hot food portion wasn't that great. Like I did with Comfort Suites in Miami, I only stayed here because of the voucher that I had, otherwise I personally don't think its worth spending that amount of money for a single person staying in a hotel.

This is a great Hampton inn, conveniently located near 75 and FGCU. I have stayed here three times and it is always good. Rooms are clean and quiet, front desk staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting the area.

Room Tip: The south facing rooms have a nice view of a small cypress forest preserve.

From landing in Orlando a week ago I became a GOLD Hilton Hhonors member and we were told we had been upgraded to a suite. We have stayed here many times as it is next door to the wonderful Miramar outlets - a superb place to shop in Florida and not too far from the Tanger outlet which is also very good. Not only did we get a suite but extras like bottles of water and OREO cookies and were allowed into the business suite so that we could print off coupons for the likes of Michaels,Jo-Ann's and Hobby Lobby! The lady in the lobby couldn't have been nicer. This is one 5 star hotel.

My husband and I stayed here while in town for an event at Germain Arena. We can't say enough great things about the hotel and its staff! The hotel lobby areas, rooms, and grounds were immaculate. Our room was very comfortable and very nicely furnished. I was so impressed with the quality of the furnishings and the decorations- it elevated the Hampton to an even higher level in my book. And not to be overlooked was the fantastic complimentary breakfast. It had all of the standard fare- muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, etc., but it also featured a rotating schedule of hot breakfast buffet items. One day it was scrambled eggs and bacon, another day it was sausage gravy and biscuits, and so on. And, my personal favorite, there was a station to make your own Belgian waffles.
In general, we thought that the service and hotel were outstanding and we would most definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in Fort Myers for the last 6 years as our children are attending college nearby. On this visit, we decided not to stay at our regular hotel (Grandstay/Wynstar) as this one was closer to the apartment our daughter was moving into. The Hampton Inn was absolutely fantastic and we will, without a doubt, stay here again and again. (Or at least till our daughter graduates!). The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely friendly...the front desk clerk, the manager, the breakfast assistants and the maids. The rooms were perfect, the a/c worked well and was quiet, the bathrooms were roomy and clean. The rooms were soundproofed quite well, and the beds were super comfortable.

I was very unsure of this (don't usually do chains) but I am so pleased that we chose this hotel. The staff were fantastic, helpful and informative. The room had all that we needed (fridge/microwave/free Wii-Fi/coffee machine). It was spotlessly clean and each day that we came back it was as though we had never been there. Breakfast was fine with a good choice every morning - I can't believe that they can offer so much for the price we paid.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights was told at check in the next 2 nights were not busy and we should receive an upgrade the following night. Checked at reception the next morning with the girl who had checked us but no upgrade. The hotel was not busy and we thought it would have been a nice jester. On check in the first day there were dirty towels at the front entrance .............did not look the best.
This is a nice hotel with nice breakfast........the tv is very old fashioned.
Location is across the road from applebees and walkable to ruby tuesdays (about 5 minutes). The shopping outlets and germain arena are less than 5 minutes drive.
