“Potato chips and pickles!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Went to Ted's to get a break from all the seafood restaurants in Fla. We were not disappointed. When you are seated they place an almost pickle chip on the table. You either love of or would never touch them. I loved them. Then we got the homemade chips and dip. Everyone enjoyed them. We were with 10 people. All our party ordered some type of red meat. (Bison, steak, beef sliders) All were cooked perfect to temperature and were thoroughly enjoyed. Two complaints: food was a little salty and when will this chain move north east.

“Food excellent, hostess problem......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Go here often for the meatloaf that is excellent. Seems there are having a hostess and server problem. We arrived about 7:15pm which is 'after the crowd' for Florida :-). The place was 50% full and we asked for a booth. The hostess really seemed over her head. We were told we would have to wait for a booth but 6 were empty..."they need to be set up". We sat at the bar about 10 minutes and finally asked the bar tender (who was excellent) what the problem was. He reminded the hostess who came to us and took us to a TABLE. We have been waiting for a booth. "Oh, I don't remember that", well then why would we be waiting? There were 20 empty tables. Her lack of organization and direction to staff wrecked over usual enjoyment of Ted's. Good very good, front room poor.

“Excellent Meal, Great Prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Visited Ted's for the 2nd time and was not disappointed. We sat outside on the patio so we could listen to the entertainment from the restaurant next door. Our party all ordered something different. One ordered the Rib Eye steak with onion rings and he said the steak was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The onion rings were HUGE slices of fresh onions cooked to perfection in a light batter- very delicious. Another had the Blue Burger - and said that was done perfectly. The accompanying order of french fries was ample enough for the whole table to sample and enjoy. The 3rd member of our party ordered the broiled Salmon and said it was juicy and very nicely cooked. I ordered the roast turkey dinner which came with homemade stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans- Thanksgiving in April! The turkey is the real thing, moist, tasty and delicious. I loved the stuffing and just the right amount of gravy and appreciated that the gravy was not poured on everything- but was just enough for "dipping" and very delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ted's and will plan to go back in the near future.

“Great reasonable steak house in a touristy normally overpriced area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Ordered the 14 oz beef ribeye , loaded baked potato and asparagus . Girlfriend the teds chopped. Salad and side order of salt n pepper onion rings. Food was prepared as ordered in a timely fashion and tasted great. Staff was a little slow as we where outside the patio and our server had tables all over the restaurant , not her fault just bad manager planning on dividing there sections. I saw 5 different servers waiting the patio tables . The sunset is amazing from the outside Patio an the little pond an walk area behind the establishment ..

“Lovely experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Had visited Ted's in Atlanta and was excited to try this one in SW Florida. Wasn't disappointed. Same rich interior with booths that make you feel like you're eating in a private space, which I like. Food was delicious. The homemade potato chips are great and the bison burgers are not to be missed. The person with me wanted just sides of vegetables and that was easily accommodated and all was delicious. Waitress was prompt, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend.
