“Happy, Happy Hour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

Half-priced appetizers and wine and beer for Happy Hour is a bargain not to be denied. We were on our way home from a long day of medical/dental appointments. The service is excellent but you must sit in the bar area for happy hour deal. Lots of close-by parking. Fresh healthy marketbar is a healthy choice. Choose fresh raw veggies, etc. and it is stir-fried before you. Glad we stopped!

“Great concept - well done!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

We recently had an early dinner at Stir Crazy in Estero. They appear to have a few stores around the country - this was located in a fairly new mall. Parking is free and plentiful. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted and we were quickly seated. We went early - 530pm - we had a show to make at 730. The floor space is large, with seating on one side and a bar with TVs on the other. Fortunately, no TVs in the seating area! We were shown to a large booth - easily big enough for six good sized people. Our waiter was right there, taking drink orders. He also explained one of the ordering choices: you can pick out your own ingredients, and have your dinner cooked right in front of you in a wok! This is a great idea - only you know what you like, and what you want to eat. This was our choice, so I can't comment on any other menu choices. With this choice, the waiter takes your order for what, if any, meat you want. The choices are beef, chicken and shrimp, or all three. We all chose all three. The waiter then brings you a bowl with a side bowl for your sauce choice. You go to the counter where there is a large assortment of veggies, pineapple, peanuts, etc for you to choose from. You just put what you want in the bowl, choose a sauce (I chose peanut) and give your bowl to the cook. He adds your meat choice, then the veggies, etc you have chosen, and cooks it over open flames in the wok. Done in just a few minutes, while you watch. Then you go back to your seat and dig in! The food was exactly what I chose, and was delicious! We all ate about half, and took a doggie bag home with enough for a lunch or another meal. Cost for 4 before tip was about $80. We really enjoyed the meal and I think the concept of you choosing exactly what you want is brilliant! We'll be back!

“Quick service, great selection, excellent food!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

Weather you are a health food nut like myself or not you can't help but love this place. You get to pick your own ingredients: protein, vegetables, sauce, etc then watch the experts due their magic with the woks.

“Top Pick for Coconut Point”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

If you're in Coconut Point this is probably the best place to eat. I've been here at least 10 times and it is always good. The last time was Valentine's Day and I said to myself I just have to write a review since I do enjoy this place so much. We had the calamari as a starter and it was excellent! It was tender and cripsy and perfectly spiced. For an entree I had the Japanese Steak which comes with mushrooms in soy butter, wasabi asparagus and sesame onion rings. Every single morsel of my meal was delightful, the steak was cooked perfectly (medium) and all the vegetables tasted fresh. My partner had the Asian Cajun Tuna (seared rare) which comes with fried rice and garlic spinach... He cleaned his plate.

Our server was Flavia, she was pleasant and attentive. The manager was scanning the restaurant the entire time we were there so if anyone had a problem he would've spotted it and you would've been able to flag him down easily.

Good service, good food, good atmosphere. This is not a five star kind of place so what more could you ask for?
