“Fantastic, beautifully scenic stay with family in May”

We recently had the distinct peasure of staying at the Pearl Beach Inn resort in Manasota Key in Englewood, Florida. The manager, Robert, made us right at home upon arrival and was available at all times for the smallest of needs. Our room was comfortable and right on the shore. This relatively obscure place in Manasota Key has the cleanest sand and the most beautiful, untouched, beach front property on the west coast. We found numerous fossilized shark teeth on the shore and enjoyed cool breezes and calm, clear seas. On our last day, my wife and grandson witnessed a small group of dolphins first thing in the morning just yards from shore who "spoke" to them as they swam. My name is Dean Colfax and my wife Debbie and I have every intention of staying there again very soon. One of the most relaxing experiences I had had in a year.

“A Little Something for Everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2010

Wow, Pearl Beach Inn offers something for everyone. My husband and I enjoyed long beach walks and sitting on the deck at sunset; we also loved walking with our son and finding all sizes of shark's teeth. The inn manager, Robert, was very friendly and accomodating. He offered suggestions on where to eat, where to find the biggest shark's teeth, and offered the use of the inn's beach toys and 'Florida snow shovels.' We'll definitely be back. It's a beautiful location, amazing view, and a relaxing kind of place to reconnect with your loved ones.
*Wish list for owners: the rooms/bathrooms could use a little updating.

“A wonderful stay only a few feet from the beach!”

We spent three wonderful, comfortable nights in the Pearl Inn. Robert, the manager, was very pleasant and accommodating. Several times we felt that we were at our own private beach even if we walked more than a hundred yards from the Pearl Inn. There are only 12 units. It is very casual. Every unit has a private deck. We were in unit #6. We could look out at the beach with the shore only about 50 feet from our deck. There are plenty of shells and shark teeth for beach combers. We were able to enjoy a romantic evening watching the sunset from the main deck. It is a hidden gem for those who want to get away from the crowd.

The best thing is the clean beach and friendly atmosphere.

The thing we liked least was the AC was noisy from time to time ( there is nothing else negative to say about the place!). It was one of our best vacation experiences.
We are definitely coming back!!

“Great View, Clean Rooms, Friendly and Accommodating Manager”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2010

This was a very nice place to stay. Manager, Robert, was very pleasant and eager to please in any way he could. He suggested restaurants, helped in finding different things we were searching for, and was just an all around great, friendly manager. The rooms were clean, fresh towels were available each day, the guests were friendly and the view of the Gulf was wonderful. The beach was only a few steps away, clean and enjoyable. The location was good with easy access to the main highways.

Beyond Robert's control was what we liked least. The weather left something to be desired with a 5 hour night of continuous thunder and lightning. The Gulf had 3 ft. waves or higher on two of the days that we were there along with winds that would sandblast your body if you decided to sit on the beach. Pearl Beach Inn Resort was a good choice!

“Customer Service is the best!!!!”

We recently stayed at the Pearl in mid April for the 1st time. The privacy & peacefulness was more than we expected. It was a great escape. The sunsets were magnificent! The manager, Robert, made our stay so much more enjoyable with his helpfulness and kindness. We definitely felt 'welcomed' there. We feel very confident with all the things we saw Robert doing during our stay with maintenance, improvements, etc., that Pearl Beach Inn can only become a better place to stay. Robert is definitely an asset to the Pearl. We look forward to seeing him on our next vacation. Thanks Robert! Don & Jeannie
