“Peace Love Pearl Beach Inn!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

I stayed a while back with my husband & kids. We happened to stay during a rain spell and we still had the most amazing time! The property manager offered us books, puzzles, toys and many local tips where to have a meal.
I am actually planning our second visit here and this is what brought me to the review board. I read through many reviews and have to laugh when I see people complain over a broken toilet paper fixture or only one ice tray. Listen, in today's society there is so much hustle and bustle and way too many overstimulating electronics...you come to a place like this to get in touch with your inner self, relax, unwind and take in all of the beauty around you. My 8 yr old said this is one of the best places she has been next to boulder Colorado! That is huge! She is 8 and there is no mickey mouse here, no video games, basically an amazing quiet beach, shark teeth & lots of time to enjoy family! Everyone needs to stay here at least once to see for themselves how truly amazing it is. One more thing, if this place gets to popular that it seems crowded....have respect for your neighbors and keep the mood mellow & chill. Also maybe you will luck out and see turtles nesting like we did or collect over 900 shark teeth! Enjoy because we sure did!!

Room Tip: Ask Robert!

It is wonderful to know there are families like yours who truly appreciate the peace and pleasure of a place like Pearl Beach Inn. I’m sorry to hear that you had some rain during your stay, but it doesn’t seem to have dampened your pleasure! That’s a huge haul of shark’s teeth. What a great souvenir of your stay! We will be here when you are ready for another peaceful retreat. We look forward to seeing you again!

My daughter, who lives on the florida east coast, and I stayed there this week while hunting for sharks teeth and shells. We found this place by accident and decided to get a room for the night. OMG, I just loved it! I can't wait to get back, and I will go back this week if I can. I have stayed in some ritzy hotels, and if you're looking for valets and room service go to the Hilton. But if you want a beachside inn, steps from the gulf, seclusion, immaculate rooms, beautifully furnished and decorated, and management that doesn't hover all over you (trusting you won't trash the place if he leaves), this is the place. There is virtually no one on the beach, there isn't a public access for miles. The view of the gulf from almost every room is spectacular. They provide water "toys", beach towels, free laundry, beach chairs, umbrellas..everything you need to enjoy the beach. None of which I used, because I just couldn't stop wading in the gulf and searching for shells long enough to do anything else! I just loved it, and can't understand anybody who would criticize this place about anything. What is offered is so much more than anything perceived to be lacking. I just loved it!

Room Tip: No real food nearby, so bring your food with you. The rooms have sinks, fridge, coffee maker and mi...

You really hit on all the aspects of Pearl that make it so delightful…location, cleanliness, wonderful staff and the Gulf at your doorstep. Your description is spot on and I’m so glad you found us. We all know how addicting it can be to hunt shark’s teeth…once you start looking, it’s difficult not to keep looking, especially if they are plentiful. We hope you found lots of teeth and shells. If you can come back this week (or next month or next year) we’ll be happy to see you!

My mother and I stumbled upon Pearl Beach while exploring the area, we checked the reviews and decided to spend the night. We were greeted by Robert who gave us a short tour of the property and showed us to our room. First impression, WOW! The property was neat with a tropical getaway feel. The view of the gulf was breathtaking and the rooms were so immaculate and decorated to match the setting perfectly! If you are looking for a break, Pearl Beach Inn is the place. We stayed only one night and it felt like we stayed a week. The shells are plenty as were the hundreds of shark teeth I collected. We will be going back and recommending Pearl Beach Inn to everyone coming to Florida. Thank you Pearl Beach!

When we checked in for our 3- day stay Bob, the manager, said that we may see manatees swimming in the gulf. I thought, yeah, right... Much to our delight we have spotted a manatee the last two mornings swimming about 20 feet or so off shore. How exciting!!! Every so often they surface for air, and then we got a good glimpse of the entire sea cow. Bob also showed us sea turtle nests near the resort, and we enjoyed looking for new tracks in the sand each morning ( taking care to not disturb any nests, of course).

We give your husband high marks for choosing the perfect location to get away. No doubt about it, the Pearl’s location makes for great views of the water, the beach and the amazing sunsets. So glad you enjoyed your weekend. We’ll see you at the ‘alumni’ reunion!

My family stayed just one night at this Inn during our two and a half weeks of island hopping but wished we had planned a few more nights here.

We stayed in Room #3 which had a great view of the ocean. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. There was a small kitchen area with a fridge and microwave, glasses and silverware. There was a HUGE walk-in closet, which was nice to keep all the luggage out of the way. Outside there is a very nice, large deck where you can grill. Everything is well maintained.

The Inn is surrounded by nice homes so the beach is not crowded. If you continue further down the beach, you will come to Blind Pass Beach which probably will be crowded as it is a public beach (free parking!). We were very interested in looking for shark's teeth and we found more teeth closer to Blind Pass--approx. 50 in about 1 1/2 hours, one very large tooth.

The only minor issues I had were with the key card and parking. I was told to keep the key card away from my phone or it might quit working. Even though I did that, my key card had stopped working within 3 hours. At most places, this is not an issue. But here, it was my understanding no one was available to assist after 6 pm. My second card continued working. Parking was also a little tricky and it's somewhat of a walk to the room.

It sounds like you made the most of a one night stay! We are happy to know that you found the accommodations to be quiet and comfortable. It sounds like you found a good spot for finding shark's teeth while you were here. The location varies depending on the weather and the waves. We look forward to being in your plans next time you "island hop". See you soon.

At the end of every school year we plan to get away for a few days (my husband and I are both teachers). We live in the Orlando area, so we prefer getaways that are not crowded with tourists. This was the perfect place! It was nestled among homes, so very few people around. We brought our sons, 8 and 10, and all of us enjoyed hunting for sharks' teeth and playing in the warm gulf water. The rooms are small, but this was completely fine for us. We've already decided to come back next year, and are even considering another visit later this summer. We're so happy we came across this place!
