This restaurant has been in the works to open for many, many months. My husband and I decided to go there to check it out for lunch!
My first impression of the interior was that it was nicely set up and decorated . My husband and I were seated right away.. soon after our waitress came over to tell us the specials and ask what we wanted to drink. After bringing our drinks she did not attend to us again until we waved someone else down (20 min later), at that time a new waiter was assigned to us apologizing for the delay. The side of the restaurant we were sitting at was not full (us and one more table of 2)Once we placed our order we observed that all of the staff were hanging around talking and fooling around. The T.V. was on as well as music (too loud) was playing.
Our food arrived late (30min after we ordered). My husband ordered the blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries and I ordered the Chicken sandwich with pesto red peppers and soft white cheese as well as sweet potato fries. The portions seemed a bit small for the prices. (Very small amount of sweet potato fries). Overall, the food was good however, the atmosphere was not so desirable. We may go back again with our children to give it a second chance...Sometimes first impressions don't mean that the restaurant is not good. I do believe in giving second chances though and we plan to try it again one day.
