“Daily Beach Yoga”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

9 am every morning on the beach. It's free, but donations are welcome. Sunset yoga twice weekly during the high season. Easy, fun and a great way to start or end your beach day.

“Close to Home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

This beach is only a couple of miles from our home. It has had renovations recently. A large building with restroom/bath facilities has been built. There are grills available there and tables. Groups often gather on this beach. It is a nice beach - no retail refreshments available, so plan accordingly. Not nearly as crowded as more well known beaches with more facilities.

Walk the beach and bring a pail to collect the beautifully colored shells that cover this sandy beach! Sandpipers, herons, pelicans and jumping fish are there for the viewing. Don't miss this genm

“Englewood Beach, lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

This is an extremely well known beach in this area. It has fees to park, each space is numbered that you use to enter into the paycenter machine that is time stamped for it's expiration time. The stub is put on your dashboard so the rangers can keep track. You need to decide how long you want to remain at the beach so you can put enough money in for your stay, otherwise you'll have to run up and renew your stub. I feel that this is a good thing that the county does as they have great facilities. The beach has a few shops and eating establishments across the street. Im sure the county charges by the hour for parking to keep the parking area for beach goers only. They have built wonderful boardwalks to make getting to the beach easier for everyone and to sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets that this beach is also known for. Love it here.

“Great beach with nice facilities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

We loved the middle beach at Englewood. Parking is free and fills up fast. The good part is there is amble parking available. The bad part is you may have to walk what seems to be forever from the back of the parking lot to the beach. That is the only thing negative about it though. The beach has a clean bathroom facility and nice board walk. There is plenty of space for lots of sunbathers. We always find sharks teeth and pretty shells.
