“Chilly for al fresco dining but good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Great little spot on the water. The restaurant is part of a beachy boutique that has very interesting merchandise. Plan to spend some time shopping before or after your meal. Been there for lunch and always enjoyed the food. Went with friends for dinner and we all enjoyed our entrees. The menu is always interesting and the food well prepared.

Our party of 6 all agreed that the New England style clam chowder was excellent. The night we went happened to be rather chilly and all of the heaters were in use so it was a bit uncomfortable. Also, parking can be limited.

“Outdoor dining at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

Two of our friends from Siesta Key joined us for lunch at this delightful bistro .
We were all impressed with the location on the water and the delicious luncheon choices.
Our friend had the Kobe beef sliders with carmelized onions and raved about them
My husband and I enjoyed the chicken wraps and the crisp, fresh side salad.
Our other friend had the lunch special for the day a tuna wrap accompanied by a tasty pasta salad..
The sun was shining the air was fresh and the setting just perfect.
We will certainly return there next year more often
Excellent service too by the friendly waitstaff.
A gem in Englewood

“good food, casual atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014 via mobile

Most of the dining here is al fresco. Very busy on a Friday night, so in season the service may be slow. They pay a lot of attention to the food. Englewood is not Sarasota, so don't expect detailed wine knowledge. But still it was a casual, convivial place to eat with live music. A special was swordfish, and it was excellent. The crispy duck breast is a regular menu item and it too was quite good, and an ample amount

“Great surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

At first glance you may drive by this place as parking is limited. You need to park on the street or down the road a block in a parking lot. We happened to be here as we had just finished a boat rental and decided to eat here. The meals were excellent from sandwiches, Kobe sliders and salads. All sandwiches and entries come with a side salad that is as big as most restaurants dinner salad. Food and salad were excellent. We want to go back to try more things. Also view looks over the bay.
