Drove down to Stump Pass Grill today for lunch on the water under the palapa tiki hut. The view and location is right next to the intercoastal waterway and is beautiful. The setting is simple utilizing picnic tables and paper towels for napkins. We had eaten here before so we kind of knew what to expect. Today was a little disappointing since the server was not on her best game. We requested a condiment and she forgot to bring it. My wife picked it up herself after we couldn't locate the server. The food portion was disappointing too. My wife ordered fish & chips at $11. 3 pieces of fish and a small portion of fries arrived. The food was tasty but it seemed pricey for only 3 pieces of fish. So, essentially you are buying the great view on the water. Good stop for a drink or light lunch consisting of a bar menu.
