French crepes were perfect...absolutely delicious! I ordered the Crepe Versailles and my fiancee ordered Shrimp a l'orange crepe. Both were wonderful. They make each dish to order...none of that heated up food. We shared a six layer, homemade carrot cake for dessert and it may be the best I've ever had! Last visit we shared a Key Lime torte and it was equally delicious. The decor is tasteful, fun, carribean, with nice displays by local artists, including hand-painted pareos and lovely pottery. As and if all this isn't enough...last night the entertainment was a spanish guitarist, playing beautiful latin classical and contemporary pieces. Not too loud I'm glad to report. Tonight, the entertainment is scheduled to be a peruvian sitar...should be interesting! My fiancee and I have been lucky to have travelled extensively in our lives and visited many fine resorts and restaurants, and we were frankly shocked to find so many of them outdone by this darling bistro nestled on a lovely historical street in nearby Englewood, Florida.
