This is a well maintained, clean and friendly hotel. Cannot beat the value; especially with breakfast included. Televisions were flat screens and bathrooms were clean with modern wood furniture. Small but warm feeling, clean lobby.

This hotel has always been quick to accept last minute reservations and to find the best fit for me. As I travel quite a bit for work, I sometimes never know where I'll be stopping for the night. This Hampton seems to always have one or two rooms set aside. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is on-time and there is always a good selection. Location is great as it is part-way hidden from the normal traffic pattern, yet within walking distance to the local discount mall and good food. However, if you don't know where you are going, you might miss the turn off.

My husband and I stay at Hilton properties whenever feasible. We've stayed at several Hampton's over the years in a number of states; the Ellenton Hampton is the best! Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful, the location was fine; we found the landscaping very nice since it provided a little hide away from the traffic - nice grounds. The hotel itself was very attractive, clean and welcoming, nice breakfast and very nice breakfast area. We spent just one night, we live in Fort Myers and drove to the Ellenton area to meet friends from Michigan who were visiting their family in the Tampa area - we usually trade off every year - they drive to Fort Myers one year - we drive to the Tampa area the next - since finding the Ellenton Hampton we have agreed to drive there every year and spend a night or two!! Very nice Hampton, reasonably priced and good rooms. Employees all worked hard to make our stay as good as possible. Close to Outlet Mall and within walking distance. Good breakfasts with lots of variety. Several good restaurants real close also within walking distance, or just accross highway. If we ever go back to that area, you bet we will stay there again!
