“Good food, low prices, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2011

We went for both dinner and breakfast the next day. They have an early bird special from 3-7 that includes things like liver and onions, beef stroganoff, sausage with peppers and onions with penne, veal parm, salisbury steak, etc. it includes a salad, bread and a glass of wine for $6.50. I had the seafood medley for $10.95. shrimp, scallops, cream sauce, broccoli, pasta, parmesan, toast and a fresh salad, that was not from a bag-very tasty. My husband had their sliders (4@ $6.95) with french fries-they looked good and juicy and he agreed they were very good. breakfast was very nice and filing $13.00 for the two of us. The only down side the sausage gravy was not store made-mix or canned.

“Good for the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2011

Portions were large & very good. The prices are very fair for the amount of food served. The food arrived quickly & was hot. The waitress could have been a bit more friendly & did not offer coffee refills (we asked & were given). This is a small restaurant (about 10 tables) and as stated earlier is next to Norton's Bar. The building is located a bit off Main Street but there is a sign on the highway (that I missed!) naming the location. It is actually behind an auto repair shop. They are open from 8 to 8 6 days a week and 8-3 on Sundays.

“One of my favorite places to eat in Dunedin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2008

Less than a year ago, Norton's Diner opened right next to its namesake parent/affiliate, Norton's Sports Bar.

While this is not fancy place, it is not a dive, either, but rather just a good place to eat. You can fill up without being all too worried about draining your bank account or maxing out your credit card.

Working class people will stop by for a quick bite as do lots of retirees, the later especially between 4 pm and 7 pm, when dinner specials are just $5.95 including a salad and a glass of wine.

The menu is quite diverse, ranging from burgers and fries, over the best wings in town and some excellent steaks, to seafood items and home-made dinners.

Friday features another special, the very delicious battered fish.

A few months ago, Norton's Diner also branched out into breakfast, and after sampling the majority of their traditional breakfast items, the only thing I am now staying away from is their oatmeal. It just does not compare to the one served at Bob Evans; but then again, nobody in town seems to be able to match or surpass Bob Evans' oatmeal.

The Diner also caters to the sports bar next door, so that anybody who wants to watch a game on the big screen in there can easily get their meal served at the sports bar.

Personally, I prefer the smoke-free environment of the Diner to the smoke wafting through Sports Bar any day.

Been twice in one week. Tried two differant meals. Both were excellent. Try the house specials which are an excellent deal.
