“gluten free is easy.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Serendipity Cafe offers delicious gluten free, organic fare in a casual cafe setting. The cafe is spotless, the food is prepared right in front of you and the staff is friendly. I will go the Serendipity again and recommend it highly. Wonderful smoothies!

“Fantastic allergen-friendly food.”

Pricey but worth it- delicious and health- conscious! This was our second trip to the area and of course had to visit Serendipity while we were in town!

“Don't Let Organic & Gluten-Free Deter You ... This Place is Great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Many of us who are true "foodies" have a tendency to stay away from places that specialize in organic, vegan, gluten-free, wild raised, hormone-free foods mostly because eating healthy is not always the most enjoyable dining for us. That said, the owner Kim has crafted a menu and specials consisting of meals where delicious meets healthy.
My wife and I have visited Dunedin several times and have driven past the Serendipity Cafe (yellow building across from the Hospital on Main Street) as we were heading to the harbor and marina. After reading the review by "tidhome9" a local who lives in this quaint little town (see the review below which got my helpful vote) we decided to stop in for breakfast.
The place is a small, non-pretentious, hometown cafe where you can sit at a table or at the counter and watch their short-order cook, Adam, work his way through the meals being served. I had their breakfast special -- the Southwest egg burrito (being from Texas I was a little hesitant because I know good Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican breakfasts -- my favorite meal) and it was simply one of the best I've ever eaten. My wife, born and raised on a farm in Ireland, grew up on country fresh egg omeletes made with tomato, cheese and onion -- she said "it was as good she had back home."
As I stated in the title, don't let the fact that they serve healthy food deter you from stopping in at this place. While it was a little pricey for breakfast, it was worth the price and the drive from St. Petersburg to Dunedin. This place is great and we will be back again, soon!

“Vegetarian Dream”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We stopped by this little place for lunch on our way into Dunedin over the holidays. Although the menu is limited, the food is great! Fresh vegetables, AWESOME kale chips (made right in front of us!), friendly staff, and good location. While this is certainly a small, nice "hole in the wall" type of dinner, we were thrilled with our experience.

“Sweet place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

Stopped here one morning for a coffee and muffin. Lovely little organic place with friendly staff. Prices are a little high ($11 for two coffee and 2 muffins) but they were vegan muffins and very good!
