Worth every penny, great fishing and shelling not too many rocks.
Was not very crowded since you have to take a ferry there too bad it couldnt be less expensive I would visit more often

“Feels like you are on your own island~!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

Fun & fast ferry ride to the Island, beach chairs & umbrella easy to rent. You are only allowed to stay 4 hours but it is worth the trip & ferry cost.

“I love, love, love Caledesi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Peaceful, lots of interesting shells. I went on a cloudy, coolish day in March so it wasn't crowded. Great walking trails. The ferry ride over from Honeymoon Is. is fine, no complaints. The ferry was not expensive, either. Go if you can - it's beautiful at Caladesi!

“its like not being in tampa when youre in tampa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

its pretty much the way nature intended. 5 miles or less you have us 19, construction etc. and this is so pleasant, you cans ee why the first settlers stayed in the area.
