My husband and another couple vacationed in Hawk's Cay in October. The hotel is beautiful and the service was terrific. We stayed in a preferred spa villa with one of the spas in the back courtyard and overlooking a canal. It was so private and very clean. Sitting in the spa was a wonderful way to end each evening. My friends were also amazed by amenities and beautiful gardens. We had the opportunity of renting kayates for the day which was very affordable and gave us about 9 hours to paddle around the canals and waterways - just amazing to see the wildlife from the water. We definitely plan to return soon.

Last time I stayed at hawks cay the service was questionable and the food was too expensive and not very good. Although this time I didnt spend any money on food cause they had all the popcorn i could eat. And there was a very attractive bartender ,named Gissele who served me like a king. All in all it was great!

Beautiful place. Very well kept, but the staff is not very friendly. Unless you are there to fish or relax, there is nothing else to do. They do have a "dolphin encounter" but it is a little pricey. You have to travel about 8-10 miles in either direction to find any restaurants. If you are looking for entertainment or night life, go to Key West. If you are looking to relax, this is the place.

Hi everyone

My family and I returned home this month from a 13 night Miami/Cruise/Florida Keys adventure.

We stayed 1 night at Hawks Cay Resort and need I say 1 night wasn't long enough.

We arrived just after 4pm, check in was a breeze, really fast to be honest. Our room was 1116.

The bedroom had 2 queen beds, and a bunk bed, the bunk at the bottom would fit 2 kids and the top would fit 1. So our room could have held 7!
The room was immaculate, there was a walk in shower, seperate toilet, lots of big white fluffy towels! 2 dressing gowns, iron, tv, safe.

When we arrived we headed straight to the pool, it was so warm! We walked down to Toms for dinner but it was closed :o( some kind of refurb I think, but it was a pleasant walk past some lovely boats and friendly people having a bbq.

We had room service and it was delightful! I had anticipated the meal to be cold and not up to scratch but it was great! I had a cheeseburger and my husband had a pizza! It arrived in about 15 minutes when they said expect to wait 45 minutes when we placed the order.

The next day we were leaving for Key West, we had our breakfast in IHOP in Marathon.
