We just happened on the Henderson Park Inn driving along the coast, and what a gem! We checked in for one night, ended up staying 2 nights... left for Pensacola area, but had to come back for 2 more nights because it was so fantastic! Everything was amazing, from the friendly staff, private decks with gulf view, to wine and grapes on arrival. The beach and water was beautiful...got some great body surfing in. Full breakfast including omelets made to order every morning was outstanding, and happy hour at the "tiki bar" was very fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will certainly be back!

The Henderson Park Inn is the friendliest, most relaxing, perfect escape to the white sand beaches of Destin, FL. It is located next to Henderson State Park so the beach is quiet and away from the crowds. It caters to those 25 years old and older. The breakfast buffet is spectacular-(indoor or outdoor overlooking the ocean) and included in the price, as well as a box lunch, lemonade and cookies, candy, soda, coffee, and a happy hour on the deck overlooking the ocean. We cannot say enough about how well we were treated and how much we enjoyed our time there. We already booked our room again for next year.

The friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail were over the top. My wife and I stayed in the Presidential suit, and it was just that, fit for a president. It's a couples dream. Very romantic, and very secluded. Our stay was in November and the water is crystal clear this time of the year. The temperature was around 75 degrees and the water was tolerable but only a few were brave enough to go in it, and I wasn't passing up the opportunity to soak in the salt water. We will definitely be back again, but be sure to book in advance, and there's only one presidential suite, but I highly suggest it, and the price is very reasonable.

I spent a couple of nights at the hotel while in Destin for a friends wedding. The staff was courteous at check-in. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was always helpful and attentive. The wine and grapes at check-in were very nice after a long drive. I had a second floor room with a nice view of the gulf. My wife has some knee issues and the lack of an elevator was a small issue but could a major one for people with limitations to movement.
My wife went to watch the sunrise on the beach and the staff turned on a propane heater and offered cocoa and coffee and a large blanket. I would strongly suggest that since it is gorgeous.
Overall, it was an excellent weekend at a great inn.
