This is a great value especially for people who are retired. It is a little older crowed, but nice and quiet. Right on the ocean! Beautiful sunrises and sun set! About 65 to 70 degrees in Feb most every day... Not to hot but a little chilly at night just need a sweater.
Each unit is different because they a privately owned. You can call the desk or Sterling Resorts and they will set you up in a unit.

Very nice place...

It was actually through a realtor that was friends with the owner of the condominium. The main lobby was closed at 6 pm when I got there so I had to get my keys in a lock box. They were not there and the resort by phone wouldn't help me because I went through a owner. My realtor wouldn't call me back for 4 hours in wich I just had rented another room down the road. When I did get in my room the following day the resort was painting the balconies so you had cables and ropes hanging over your balconies and all the lawn furniture from the balcony was all stacked inside the unit. I moved it back on the balcony and when I left my room someone came back in the room and put it all back in the unit again. I was furious! The resort said it was the owners doing, but the only people who had seen me put in back out were the painters. That means the painters went in my room where all my private property was. I found out also that the balcony door did not lock. You are on vacation and you have painters all over your balcony. No privacy! Then on the last night I locked my one key in the room and my realtor couldn't help me and said that was the only key, so I had to stay somewhere else again. I was reinbursed for one night but I will never stay through panhandlegettaways ever again or the resort. Even though I went through the owner I think sterling resorts should have helped me!!

My family and I stayed at this Condo in June of 2007. We had a 3 bedroom on the first floor....which is what we requested since we have 2 small children. We were in unit 106, and it was a great location. It walked straight out next to the pool. I was able to put my baby down for a nap, take the monitor to the pool and be VERY close to where she was. It was GREAT. It is hard to find that in Destin. Alot of the resorts don't have bottom levels that walk straight to the pool. The condo was clean, well decorated, and spacious. The kitchen was HUGE and the master suite was nice. The bath tub in the master was kind of small though. The pool was small, but we were ok with that to be able to get a nice condo that had that ground floor. The beach was super clean...and had beach service for umbrella chairs. It was a quaint, quiet complex. Simple and great!! We booked straight from the sterling resorts website.....I called the 1800 number. There are several resorts to choose from with Sterling.

The destin beaches are busy this time of year....but we never had a problem being comfortable or having anyone get in our way. You must get to the beach by 9:00 if you want an umbrella chair!!!
