It was actually through a realtor that was friends with the owner of the condominium. The main lobby was closed at 6 pm when I got there so I had to get my keys in a lock box. They were not there and the resort by phone wouldn't help me because I went through a owner. My realtor wouldn't call me back for 4 hours in wich I just had rented another room down the road. When I did get in my room the following day the resort was painting the balconies so you had cables and ropes hanging over your balconies and all the lawn furniture from the balcony was all stacked inside the unit. I moved it back on the balcony and when I left my room someone came back in the room and put it all back in the unit again. I was furious! The resort said it was the owners doing, but the only people who had seen me put in back out were the painters. That means the painters went in my room where all my private property was. I found out also that the balcony door did not lock. You are on vacation and you have painters all over your balcony. No privacy! Then on the last night I locked my one key in the room and my realtor couldn't help me and said that was the only key, so I had to stay somewhere else again. I was reinbursed for one night but I will never stay through panhandlegettaways ever again or the resort. Even though I went through the owner I think sterling resorts should have helped me!!
