The park and beach itself are impeccable. We were camping and the road noise was awful, the park is right on top of the main road with Hooters and Walmart to boot. Not a camping oasis and if you're in a tent, you'll be the only one. RV city would be a better description of the camping location. The electricity hook ups keep the RV generators off so you get uninterrupted road noise. The facilities (bathrooms, etc.) were well maintained. Go for the day to beach, if it's not out of you're way, otherwise skip it.
