We ate here last tuesday and arrived around 6:00 and did not have to wait although was crowded.We were waited on quickly and efficiently.I chose the special which was stuffed grouper--it was excellent.Husband chose andouille and fettucinni didn't leave any on his plate and was stuffed.The hush puppies are really good and the sunsets are beautiful.We always try to eat there on every trip.
This restaurant is not good. On a visit to see my mom, we decided to try the Lagniappe because we hadn't been there in years. I can't believe this place is still in business. We waited about 2 hours in the cramped bar area. When we finally got seated the dining room area was filthy...food on the carpet. The restaurant was so busy the waitstaff was running around all over the place. We got side salads that consisted of iceberg lettuce and dressing. Nothing special. The fish was mediocre. Seriously Red Lobster is better...and at least they have those awesome cheddar bay biscuits. Try Harbor Docks, FudPuckers, or the BackPorch instead.
