I've stayed at Leeward Key 7-8 times. Great location, great view! There used to be a little convience store beside the condos which was perfect for grabbing that late night snack or a fishing net. This year (2005) they have torn down the little store and are putting in more condos. I do hope these new condos don't block the awesome view of Leeward Key. The condos are actually across the 2 lane street from the beach. The beach is actually closer to the condos than it is to some places that are right on the beach. We always rent the 2 bedroom condo. There are 2 pools, one gulf side and one behind the condo (heated). There are 2 grills at this pool, but unfortunately EVERY year I've been (5 years now) one or both of them are broken! Irritating! Fortunately, on the other side of the condos is a great little oyster restaurant called Wahoo's (it's called Kenny D's now but I like the name Wahoo better). We get the same waitress every year! Across the street and down a short distance is Capt Anderson's. Haven't been there but it's right on the water and always crowded. This is not a party type atmosphere here. Just relax and enjoy the beautiful view! You are gonna enjoy this place!

Lots of shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, go-carts, and Big Kahunas not too far.
