My husband and I recently took a trip to Florida and decided to stay at this Holiday Inn Express in spite of some of the bad reviews. To us, this place was STELLAR! :) The room carpet was new and very nice. The style looked like a retro 60s style. The room itself was huge, with plenty of furniture. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was awesome. We always have the scrambled eggs with a muffin or a banana. But they have a great selection of items. The staff was friendly and the location was second to none! I would definitely stay here again if we go back to Florida. The bathroom had plenty of towels and was very clean and roomy. No complaints what so ever.

The walls were so thin I could hear the man next door yawning. Maintenance worker in hall way working while talking on phone for over 20 minutes. Got 2 wake up calls at 5:00 a.m. which I didn't order! The only good thing here was the breakfast. Not staying there again!

Bed extremely hard in my king suite. No towel bars- none. Carpet visually dirty and grungy. Hotel now being renovated and major construction zone around lobby area. Breakfast room not available and no lobby. Breakfast was in a hotel room. Staff did its best with what they had to work with. All that mess doesn't stop the owners from renting rooms with no discount. First bad experience I have had with a HI Express. I use HI Express hotels for reasonable rates and clean comfortable rooms with great beds. Not this one. Felt ripped off.

My husband took us to this hotel for our honeymoon and it was literally down the street from the beach! Which was beautiful. The hotel was very clean. The help was friendly. The rooms were clean and smelt clean. I loved all the toiletries they provide. Shampoo conditioner lotion shower cap shower shoes knitting kit nail file makeup remover, soap bar, Kleenex, and even qtips. If you forgot anything else you could call the front desk and they'll give you a free supply of whatever you need. I LOVED having a fridge in our room and coffee maker. The fridge saved our cold drinks and food we brought with us. The coffee maker was simple and made great coffee where they provided all the condiments. Breakfast wasy favorite. Complimentary and a huge one at that. You have a choice of bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, orange juice, milk, pastries, ect!! Best hotel breakfast EVER! It was different everyday too :) They're very organized and thoughtful.
