Don't think I've ever seen quite so many TV's in a bar. Happy hour was good, the food was good and the atmosphere was good. Whar more could you wish for.

“Good food, open Christmas Day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We arrived in Destin on Christmas night to find only a handful of places open and those had long waits. Our son who lives in Destin had been to this place a few times with friends and thought they might be open. We arrived to find they were open and happy to serve us. The food was good, especially the burgers. The waitress was friendly (from England, sorry we didn't get your name) but spent time to chat with us. This is a great sports bar. We made a second trip back since we were with 3 20-something sons who wanted to watch bowl games and some basketball. The food was equally good the second time and would recommend this place for sports fans and to someone who just wants a reasonably priced dinner.

“Excited about then disappointed by chef's local specials”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

I ordered the Cajun shrimp that is already peeled and ready to eat. Although the shrimp was great and fresh, the flavors were anything but Cajun. With ginger and lime in a brown sauce (soy sauce?), I wondered if "Cajun" was supposed to have been transcribed as "Asian"?

I also ordered a cup of seafood gumbo. Soooooo disappointing. The "seafood" or whatever was in the gumbo was so overcooked that it all resembled chicken. There were sausage pieces that were no longer a sausage texture. The server assured me that the gumbo was made that day but that was hard to believe. The flavor was lacking and had a little bit of tang that shouldn't have been there - vinegar? Tomato?

My partner had the buffalo burger, also from the chef's special menu. It was as described: burger, onion rings, buffalo sauce, cheese (pepperjack, maybe? I forget) and caramelized onions. Although the concept sounded good on the menu, the combination was not.

Sadly, the best item we had was a chili cheese fries appetizer. It was a pile of thick, round potato chip-shaped fries covered in chili, cheese, and a dollop or sour cream. It looked disgusting but was very tasty.

“Not your regular Pub Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012 via mobile

We have eaten here many times, and it gets better every time. They have a new chef who has special dishes that are like eating five star food in a pub. I had the steak pie, aweaome! My wife had a pasta with shrimp, sausage and vegetables in a cajun sauce, she didn't come up for air until it was done. The place was packed, and the food still came out fast and hot. Can't wait to see what the Chef does next!

“The perfect sports bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Loved the atmosphere, the food, the service, and all the camaraderie of a good football Sunday. Loved it that it had a big city sports bar feel to it though in a strip mall in Destin.
