A group of 16 of us booked reservations for New Year's Eve 2012. We were promised the upstairs room to share with another reservation for 15. We could use the room to dance, it had a separate bar, and balcony to watch the fireworks. Price $69.99 per person. Very slow service since there were only 2 waiters. The appetizer was 2 plates of stuffed mushrooms for 16 people! The salad was drowned in dressing and wilted. The entree I ordered was a filet mignon - what came was a mystery meat in very thin purple slices (I ordered medium rare) and loaded with so much meat tenderizer it was in strings. They also put loads of pepper on it to cover up the salty tenderizer taste. Others said their grouper and pasta dishes were so bland they had no taste at all. The dessert was bread pudding which was so small it was barely 2 bites; and not bread pudding! Right after our entrees were served the flood gates opened and the room was filled with people coming in from outside in the village to get drinks at the bar. No longer a room to dance or even talk without screaming, we decided to skip the midnight champagne and left. No one in our group will ever go back. To add insult to injury, they added their own tips to the bills. It was a terrible experience for what we had hoped would be a memorable night.
