After almost a week in Destin, we wanted to make our last evening particularly special. We decided to dine at the Beach Walk at Henderson Park Inn. The secluded, yet convenient location is one of the charms of this staple of Destin over the years. The atmosphere was palpable, dreamlike, yet understated. The food was superb. I have a lovely pecan encrusted grouper. My husband had the blackened ("Well, 'bronzed' really," the waiter said) snapper. Both were delectable, as was dessert. Pleasantly upscale without ever being pretentious, this restaurant will be one we return to regularly. And it adds to the charm that every lady leaves with a long-stemmed flower!
