We stayed at this property because we liked the location and the rooms had Wifi, a fridge and a microwave.The room was actually nice but because "There weren't enough guests," there was no housekeeping for two of the four days we stayed! So we returned to a room with unmade beds and full trash cans. The front desk staff could do nothing because the general manager B.D., was completely unavailable. We requested a refund for part of our stay but again only B.D. could grant a refund. When she finally returned to work and I phoned her, she said no refund because we had "already checked out." Oh and on several days the food at breakfast was either non-existent or had gone bad (photo). There are hundreds of hotels in the area around this price so there is absolutely NO REASON to stay where guests are treated so badly. Off-season or not, I have NEVER stayed in a place that blew off housekeeping because there weren't enough occupied rooms, Very sad to see this is part of the Choice Hotels Brand. PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE.

We literally only spent about 8 hours here for a nights sleep driving from New Orleans to Tampa and for that purpose it was absolutely perfect for the cost (around $75). Breakfast, free parking & free wi-fi were a bonus. Great location - walk to the beach and outlet malls.

We made a stop here over night to enjoy the beaches before heading to Disney World in Orlando. We booked at this hotel for $140 a night for 2 adults and 3 kids. Not too bad. The property were a little hard to find. It's behind another hotel! From the outside look of it I was surprised to find the room were clean with a contemporary feel. There is no bath tub, only shower. The room is a little on the small side. Breakfast was pretty nice and plenty with fresh fruits, muffins, boiled eggs, toast, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt. There is a machine to make waffles but there weren't any batter! lol Overall, it was pretty decent for an overnight stay.

The main advantage to this hotel was the price - $79/night. The bathroom has no tub, only a shower, and the toilet needs to be reseated - it moved alarmingly when one sat on it. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, but did cool the room enough to doze off when the air conditioner had cycled off. Unfortunately, one was awakened each time the air conditioner cycled back on. The clerk at the front desk seemed very interested in her magazine when I walked in and stood at the check in counter. When she finally looked up to acknowledge me, she seemed to be making a game out of speaking as softly as possible. After the third, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you," she started to speak in a normal voice. There was no effort made to welcome one to their hotel, and if there was any form of free breakfast, it was not mentioned to me. However, all that being said, the room was relatively clean.
