Wow. This is a great little resort. Wonderful pool for all ages. My toddlers loved the pool!! We stayed in unit 401 which was farthest away from the beach but still not a bad walk. We will try to stay around unit 216 next time so we are a little closer and dont have to worry with the elevator. Though the elevator was very convienent. Condos are huge. Lots of space. The bed in 401 was not that comfy but the bunk beds were. The bunk beds are in a little alcove with a closet and an extra bathroom. So the condo sleeps 6 with 2 baths for a price of $1300 all inclusive. Great Deal. Very convienent to Sanddestin, shopping and seaside. Traffic got bad headed the The Harbor WALK area.

This condo was just perfect for the three day stay with two teen girls. They enjoyed their bunk beds, their own bathroom, and it was plenty roomy to eat in. They didn't mind the walk to the beach. My daughter said it didn't seem that far at all. The beach looked really good, and the girls actually wanted to spend most of their time there instead of the resort pool. There are umbrellas and chaise lounges, but not in abundance. The unit, 212, looked right down at the pool, so when mom and dad were ready for a rest indoors, the girls were within eyesight while they swam and sunned. A variety of restaurants are within a short drive of the condo, and so is the Wal-Mart for picking up supplies and more beach towels or suntan oil. The condo was very nice and clean upon arrival. The bed comforters were fresh and linens were immaculately clean. There were plenty of fresh bath towels and bar soap. The kitchen could have been a little more fully furnished. All in all, this condo was a pretty fair value as they go in season in Destin. We would consider it again.

You have to walk down the road about 1/4 of a mile to the designated beach access then cross the congested road to get to an area of the beach that is probably the nastiest in Destin. The resort is fairly new - built in 2006, but the units and pools are aging quickly. There is no on-site management company so people from other resorts and even the houses behind this resort use the pool so it can get very crowded. The shower heads are about 9 ft high in all of the units so it takes extra patients to get rinsed while showering. The elevators are slow and sometimes out of order. Several of the units I have stayed in had carpet that needed replacing badly - when you have small children you don't want them playing around on filth.
Overall - there are much better resorts in Destin.

We traveled with 3 kids that were 9 and under, and there was plenty of space for us. Beach access was a little farther than we thought, and we were without internet/phone service for half of our stay (4 stars for service), but other than that the pool was great, the room was great, and we look forward to going back to the beach!
