“Great location, great conciererege lounge, a little worn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

The Marriott in Delray Beach haas a great location and the concierge lounge is one of the best that I have visited. The rooms are a bit old and do not seem to have had the signature Marriott remake.
Te big drawback is the lanais. Some do not have furniture. All in the towers are too small, only able to hold a very small table and two chairs. Pool service was attentive and the food was very good.

Room Tip: The north tower may be older that the south tower. Opt for south.

I stayed for a conferance and liked it so much I decided to extend my stay through the weekend. The hotel is beautiful, the area is packed with great resturaunts...The room i had was a suite that looked over the ocean. Perfect, quiet at night!

May 17,18 Same as another guest at hotel not ready until after 6pm handed reservation to front desk put me in a different room from what I paid for returned to front desk they gave me new room suite no ref, no tub front desk in training no manager available and Website says two pools adult pool not true now they offer a pool to villa residence only their own pool. Called Miss Torres rude, front manager think twice before you stay here.

Room Tip: I will be trying the Hyatt half price and the Seagate.

Just lovely! Beautiful architecture, decor and finishes. Very clean. Friendly staff. This is a charming Marriott. The common areas are gorgeous. The rooms are nice, but not as good as the rest of the hotel. Bed and linens great. Towels plentiful. Rooms are a bit small, and the bathroom is tiny, but very pretty marble. Obviously an older hotel that has been redone. Don't mind the small rooms because the rest is so lovely. Room service meals very good. Our room in one of the towers has a nice ocean view, and is relatively quiet. I always sleep with earplugs while travelling, so no noise problems. I really needed a massage, but the beautiful spa priced me out at 3 times the rate I pay at home. Honestly, I would pay double on vacation, but triple is a deal breaker. I walked down Atlantic Ave to Delray Health & Beauty and had a great massage for $95 instead of the hotel spa rate of $195. Overall, I really love this place. Will stay again.

Room Tip: Ocean view was nice.

It is a super nice hotel, but it was just too busy and noisy when we stayed there for the 4th if July celebration. The service good and so the quality of everything! It was impossible almost to stay at the pool area cause it was crowded, not the right time to stay at this hotel.

When you book a Marriott Resort Hotel it's usually a fairly predictable format with little or no surprises.
In the five years or so since last staying there it's remained exactly as it was, trapped in its own clunky faux-hacienda time warp.
My Wife & I stayed in an Ocean Front King - the bed & sleeping area is comfortable with a nice view of the Ocean but with a "balcony" which could just about seat two pygmies.
The bathroom is tiny, again pygmy-size, with a shower only - needless to say no bathrobes provided.
The separate sitting area has its own plasma TV, a sink, mini-bar but no microwave;we requested in advance a refrigerator to store our own foodstuffs and drinks which was supplied willingly & free of charge.
Fortunately, apart from sleeping & showering we weren't in the room very much but if you we're to spend time there you would probably find the furnishings very dated ,the lighting inadequate & the environment a tadge depressing.

On the plus side we found all the staff courteous and helpful, the whole hotel kept immaculately clean & with free wifi and two laundry rooms a perfectly acceptable base to lay one's head.

Excellent hotel although presently undergoing expansion on west side of the hotel. Noise was never a problem. Pool was never crowded and could always find a lounge. Lobby noisy due Mothers Day buffet on Sunday and convention 3 other days. Lobby area off limits to non attendee guests. Valet always prompt and pleasant. Same with bell staff. Wide variety of offerings in concierge lounge for breakfast. Has become my hotel of choice when in this part of Florida.
