“Excellent place to eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2012

If you want a good place to eat with reliable service, full menu and fair pricing for what you order, this is the place. We like to go on a Sunday when they have the chicken pot pie. Each day there is a special entree and this one is special. The menu is extensive and the portions are generous. The restaurant can get noisy when crowded.

“Very good but with flaws”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

Nice menu touches and well thought out dishes, Henry's suffers from its size and
very success. It's very expensive and the menu's ingredient's and delivery are top notch, but there are misses that shouldn't occur with the prices. Fish is consistently
overcooked, but tasty. The conundrum is that if you are charging $32 for a dish it should be perfect by the time it reaches your table no matter how fast the kitchen is trying to push.
Wine list is good, appropriately priced . Deserts are huge and showy, but not particularly tasty or worth the calories.
Staff is well trained and courteous. The noise level is deafening and the facility would be well served to put some sound deadening materials around to kill
the reverberation. At some point the noise distracts from the food.

“Very good "comfort" food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2012

They changed and simplified their menu with even more emphasis on comfort food. Four of us had a very positive experience recently - good-sized portions, friendly wait-staff, and quick service. Only negative -- a persistant moldy/musty smell when you walk through the door. Has to be something under the entrance carpet. Never notice it once I'm in the place, but seems strange management never seems to deal with it.

“Great lambchops and beef shortribs along with 5 star pea soup.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011 via mobile

The two meat dishes the lamb and the beef were both tender in excellent sauces. Can't wait for our next trip back. This restaurant is now on the top of my list for south east FL.
The no fat vegetarian pea soup was world class. Service was very good. Certainly a great alternative to the overcrowded carnival atmosphere over at Atlantic avenue.

“Henry's is excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2011

There is good food to be had here and a good wine list and service to go along. While the place at lunch looks a little like a ladies's luncheon club, there is a lively bar scene at night and a very nice menu at both lunch and dinner. The food is nicely prepared, wide selection of many regular items and nightly specials. Very fair pricing. Some really delicious cooking. Try the duck!! Or the turkey/mushroom meat loaf. Excellent Caesar salad.
