My wife and I were looking for a relaxing vacation for just the two of us which is what we found at the Gulfstream Manor Resort. We were exchanging our timeshare resort and found this place available for exchange. The resort offers the for location access to South Florida charms while providing a peaceful beach front experience all rolled into one vacation.

All of the units are a one bedroom unit with a separate living/dining space with a little kitchen along with full bathroom and washer/dryer in the room. A majority of the units offer some sort of ocean view and or balcony to enjoy the view. We were in unit 205 so we were provided an ocean view from both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen is very small that really only one person would be able to use it at a time. Some of the appliances could use replacement such as the coffee maker as it was starting to rust.

The pool and hot tub area were well appointed and clean with plenty of seats while some more loungers would be useful but we never had any issues getting a lounger. The resort also offers a seating area and several propane bbq's for use by the guests. You could also access the beach via a private gate.

The resort offers plenty of safety for it guests with gates that can only deal opened with your room key. The units are centered around the court yard. The resort staff is very friendly and go to all lengths to make you feel welcomed are are very happy to offer suggestions on things to do or places to eat. The resort is on the A1A and a fees minutes away from the I-95 making access to plenty of dining and shopping option with 10 minutes or so including Atlantic Ave.

If you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot with easy access to shopping, dining and the charms of South Florida then this resort is the place you want to stay.

This "hidden pearl" is one of the best resorts, for the price, we have ever visited in 20 years of timeshare visits. The best 'feature' is Nancy, what a wonderful person, she made our visit perfect, one which we will never forget. Right now we are searching RCI exchanges to see if we can get back here again. The location, between millionaire homes, is absolutely beautiful, the resort is so manicured that there is not a blade of grass out of place. We loved the spa, although the pool was too fresh for us, and we had a super BBQ on the grills provided. You need a car to visit this resort and there is not a lot to do locally, but up the road is Delray Beach's Atlantic avenue and there is everything you can wish for in entertainment and restaurants. Go to The Taste of Brazil, the Cabana seafood restaurant and the Japanese gardens, plus lots more. We will return as often as we can grab an exchange.

We stayed at this resort for 1 week in July. It is a little outside the main area of Delray Beach but a perfect, quiet place to relax and enjoy the sun, the beach and the pool. The apartment was recently renovated and has good quality furniture and appliances including a washer and dryer. We were provided with beach chairs, pool equipment and brand new grills. The resort is right on the beach and that was truly the best part. The staff is friendly and helpful. A wonderful place for a Florida vacation.

From the minute we checked it until we left, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. Dottie and Bernise who manage the resort we fabulous. The units were very clean and nice, the view of the ocean was breathtaking. What a relaxing week. We met some great people the week we stayed, everyone was very friendly, you feel part of a community the week you stay, since it is a small resort. The last evening several of the residents had a pitch in and and cooked all remaining food to share. The pool was sparkling clean and warm. What a special place to stay. They even print out your boarding passes for you if you ask. Loaned us a cooler to take to the beach, provided beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach, what more could you ask for. My only complaint was the bed was a bit soft for my liking, but other than than super nice place. I will definitely return soon.

Room Tip: 2nd floor for view of ocean.

Just got back from a 3 week stay at Gulfstream Manor. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, conveniently located, reasonably priced, oceanfront stay...then this place should be considered. I found the rooms to be well equipped with everything you need, roomy enough and comfortable. Strong WiFi signal. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and make you feel right at home. The grounds are clean and bright, nice pool and hot tub. Hey, there is even a shuffle board court here, hadn't done that in years. During our stay, the other residents were an older crowd, very friendly, quiet. Everyone just wanted to hang at the pool and read a book or walk a few steps to the beach, which is sparsely populated at that stretch of sand. Surf casting with a cocktail was a popular choice. My wife and I had a very relaxing time here. Views of the ocean from our second floor unit, were the perfect start or finish to the day. Bring a bottle of wine to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Then eat in or head out to any number of restaurants in Delray, Deerfield, West Palm or Boca....all within 20 minutes. We had some last minute friends come down and they were able to rent there own unit and stay here as well. They enjoyed it equally as much and are coming back in a few weeks. We are heading to their sister resort, the South Shore Club in Delray for another few weeks.
I found the previous negative comments about this resort unfounded. I think some folks may forget this is a timeshare resort built in the fifties or sixties, not a hotel. So, if you are looking for more modern luxury, a bar or restaurant on site and planning on being waited on hand and foot, stay at the Marriot or Seagate on Atlantic...and plan on paying at least three times as much and dealing with the crowds.
Now, I am sure if there are families there with youg children during your stay, your experience may be different, we just happened to be there during a stretch with a more mature crowd. A few kids running around the beach would not deter me from enjoying all the positives this place has to offer. I have rented in Delray for 4 years and am booking this place again for next year.

Room Tip: Second Floor have best views of the ocean and a bit more private
