“A place fascinating place borne of one man's courageous fight against the odds the odds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

I was at the Japanese Gardens two weeks ago with friends from Pennsylvania. Not listed among popular tourist attractions, I was surprised to find it buzzing with seemingly un-endimg flow of visitors. While walking through the gardens was a spiritual experience the culinary experience at the cafe gave us a feel of Japan with graciously served delicious choices of unusual fare at fair prices..

“Morikami Japanese Gardens & Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Star out with a short 10 minute film on the history of the gardens. Then leisurely walk in the Beautiful gardens that are so peaceful and quiet. Go along or with friends. Nice walking path. You can set up an app on your phone on the gardens. After you have down some walking sit down for a nice lunch at the Cornell Cafe. Enjoy the open-aire cafe overlooking the tranquil lake and gardens. Enjoy the Pan-Asian menu including beer & wine.
Follow up your trip & lunch with a tour of museum and lovely gift shop...

“Wonderful slice of Asia in southern Florida”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Another great place for any photographer to haul in some very gratifying results with their camera - no matter what skill level they're at.

Also a fascinating place to explore the odd connection between south Florida and Japan. Not to mention the small museum that stages some wonderful displays.

“quiet beauty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

The gardens paths, about a mile long surround a beautiful lake. A vast array of plants and trees with explanations of their names and origins line the walkways. Don't expect do this in a short time. to rush this place would be a shame. there is an unusual gift shop, and a wonderful restaurant. watch the movie preview first to help you understand the history of this gem.

“Quiet Beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

25 Japanese gardens tied together by one simple trail surrounding ponds, bridges, structures and stonework are a relaxing diversion close to exciting downtown Del Ray Beach. From a photographer's standpoint, so much to capture in the beautiful design and plant diversity. The pond's koi are the largest I've ever seen, and if you're lucky a friendly armadillo will pass by.
