I see a lot of negative comments but Busch's has always delivered on the promises of great food at a reasonable price and a charming atmosphere. Perhaps others have been expecting a much lower price but they are jading themselves if they believe that good food is cheap. When did those people attempt to cook an excellent meal on the cheap? It is not possible to produce inexpensive meals of great quality these days.

Food is very expensive these days and great food is much more expensive than any of us would like. First; look for availabilitiy then check out environvonment. Delray's Busch's will float to the top every time. Most of Boca Raton/Delray's restaurants are far too expensive or or simply incapable of proving quaity foods at low prices. Busch's consisistantly delivers on the old promise of a lot for a little.

I was appalled by the service we received at this establishment. I simply asked the waiter to put all of our meals on separate tickets, before we placed our orders, for our business to reimburse us. Simple enough, I thought. This old cranky waiter got so upset at that request that he called us difficult, a problem, started throwing things on the table as he brought them to us. It was awful! He was so rude he said to one of the persons at our table, "you may want to skip the sour cream," referring to her being over weight. It was the worst I've ever been treated. We asked to talk to a manager No manager arrived, so we requested again and it took twenty minutes for him to arrive. He was useless too and just made excuses for the waiters horrible behavior. It was embarrassing to subject my co-workers to this poor example of service. I will never return!

While having lunch with my daughter we had the brie and fruit appetizer (fruit was rotten) and cobb salad (chicken was dry and tasted like it was sitting there for days) and the salmon salad. Our waitress huffed and puffed everytime we asked for something and was very nasty. We asked for two rolls to have with our salad and was told we would have to pay $4.00 for them. I told her I saw another table with rolls and she went to get their check and slammed it down on my table to prove they had paid for them. I called over the manager and told her what happened and I was not leaving a tip. We were treated so rudely that we both got up and left our salads. We were still charged $45.00 for lunch. The manager did not try to appease us at all. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again. It was very over priced. The food was bad and the service and attitude of the people running it was awful.

We have eaten here many times and overall would describe it as an average place to dine. We have tried many of the restaurants entrees over the years and find most to be average but good...clearly overpriced however. Busch's is located on a narrow stretch of the intracoastal sitting under a bridge that opens to allow large boats to pass bye. I would call the view average but fun. There is a large outdoor eating area where you have the best view to watch the boats. At times we have found the service to be good to very below average. One evening we sat near a large table and the waiter focused on that large group and gave the two of us very poor service. One night a table near us got the wrong order and was very upset. On other occasions we have had very good service. I have tried the red snapper which was very fishy tasting and just awful. The fried scallops were quite good however. On another occasion we had soul and it was average good but not spectacular. I would go back to Buschs again but I would not go for a really special occasion. I took my husband here for his birthday and we had bad service although the meal was nice. I would say for a nice evening out for an average good meal this is a fine choice but it should not be a special occasion place in our opinion.
