I'm not the type to take the time to write a review...but as I read the reviews below and stumbled upon the fellow New Yorker who gave 32 East a rating of 1, I decided to right this injustice.

I have lived in Delray for three years. My first experience there was for a dinner for my team of 8. Every person at the table was happy, and there are three of us who are pretty picky.

The next time at 32 East was Valentines Day 2 years ago. I loved the food and service so much, when we got engaged, It was the only place I could envision the reception. It was a warm, romantic party with 75 people...many of whom are impossible to please. Two chefs as guests, two finicky grandparents,three wine collectors...you name it. The food was exceptional and the service was even better. I felt like every single person who worked there was happy for us. They checked on me and made sure that I always had a drink, brought food for me to taste..all while I chatted with guests. they covered guests' plates if they got up from the table, worked on timing with the band, the food was timed and prepared perfectly, every plate looked as though it was assembled with care. Sarah the catering manager doesn't work on Saturdays, but she came in anyway to make sure everything was up to par. the hardest part for me was waiting till the last minute to finalize the menu....chef buys what's fresh and good....so things change week to week.
I've had lamb, steak, shrimp, mahi,salmon,creme brulee, lots of wine & martinis here...never a disappointment, and I know food.
We've had rave reviews from EVERYONE for months...they cite specific things that were served and I know they had a blast.
I personally guarantee you will enjoy every bite of your meal as well as the folks who take care of you!

Having done a little online research we decided to venture to 32 East for our anniversary dinner. While approaching the restaurant we noticed that there was outdoor service. After venturing into the dimly lit space we decided that on such a beautiful day we would prefer to dine outside. Our server was cheerful, well-informed of the menu and specials and remained cheerful and attentive (but not overbearingly so) throughout the evening.

The presentation, visually, scent, taste and texture of our appetizers and entrees were second to none. (and I am comparing to all of our travel/dining experiences national and international). The wine cellar selections recommended by our server were also an excellent match to the meals.

The experience here was marvelous and we look forward to dining at 32 East again on our next Florida trip.

Recently had dinner at 32 East. It IS expensive but the meal was worth the money. Both my husband and I very much enjoyed the food. Service was fine.

Let me start by saying that my husband and I are self proclaimed foodies. Good food and wine is a small obsession with us. We've lived in Delray Beach for a little over 2 years and have had the opportunity to eat at 32 East at least 6 times. Each and every time has been a culinary delight for every one. We've been with the kids, with friends and co-workers as well as a couple romantic dinners for two. Also, my husband hosted a business dinner for 20 or so in the upstairs dinning room. Each and every time every one (my kids included) has been thrilled with their meals and their service. It is by far our favorite restaurant in the area and we've tried them all. We've always had great experiences and all our neighbors and friends have glowing reviews as well.

I was stunned to read the other 2 not so favorable reviews. They were right about one thing it's not cheap but it is well worth the splurge! I only wish we could afford to go more often.
