“Best Mexican in Delray”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012 via mobile

This is without a doubt the most authentic Mexican Restaurant in Delray. Food is better than La Bamba (not to take anything away from La Bamba), margaritas are bettetr as well. The only place in Delray that competes on authenticity is the hole-in-the-wall on the corner of Linton and Congress (Huetamo). If there is a Mexican dish not on the menu, they will likely make it for you. Service was perfect. Overall, this place might be a buck or two more expensive but more than worth it.

“Same place different name.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

Beef burrito and Quesadilla Azteca. The beef burrito was 11.95 compared to the steak burrito at La Bamba for $13.95. The La Bamba steak burrito is much better for $2 more. The Frozen Raspberry Margarita was tasty, but again for $7 you get twice the size as La Bamba. Looks about like it did when the place was called Senior Frogger? I think once was enough for us.

“Now this is Mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2012

Easy to miss this mexican restaurant unless you know it there. Its set in a strip mall shopping center next to West Marine along Federal Highway, Delray Beach. We go there most weekends for lunch. The fajitas are my favourite. Very authentic sizzling platters of sauted chicken, peppers and onions with all the fixings. They even provide corn tortillas for me since I'm gluten intolerant. The salsa and chips are great here and the chef makes his own special hot salsas that are out of this world. Try the chilli de arbol salsa, so good. Great mexican food at reasonable prices.
