My partner and I are in the adoption process; so, we can only travel last minute. With Veteran’s Day, it gave us a four day weekend. We booked our flight and reservations and the Wyndham on Deerfield Beach. When we arrived, we found the place to be spectacular. We would recommend the resort to anyone wanting a special get-a-way. It also gave us the time to see my partner’s family. They, as well, thought the facility was wonderful.

My husband and I are locals and we spent one night here as a birthday staycation. I had been to this hotel pre-renovation and am happy to report that they did a fantastic job in upgrading it.
The fixtures and fittings are lovely, as is the decor, The bathrooms are well appointed and there are nice touches like wine glasses, a fridge, a magnifying mirror and a per-cup coffee machine.
We had a city view which was not worth writing home about but any glimpse of the sea soothed my soul!
The Patio cafe had good service at breakfast but it's expensive.
The construction is annoying but in a few months, that pier is going to be fantastic, well worth the $1 to see all the surfers taking advantage of the windy weather.
The pool is small but has a bar, a jacuzzi and views of the sea.

Very nice hotel. The staff is execelllent, the food is average, but the location (on the beach) is ideal. The ONLY thing that is keeping my rating down is the SMOKING. The Patio Cafe & Bar (which is inside the hotel with large open windows) somehow allows cigarette smoking. The is not the 1960's. Most travelers do not wish to have their meals ruined by carcinogens. I inquired as to who is puffing away and was told that most of the smokers are locals! Even your own Bartenders complained to me! It is time to adjust to the modern area and within Florida Statute. When you do, I will be back.
