“Stayed one night with honors points”

My husband and I stayed one night with my son. The online description indicated the rooms had kitchens/kitchenettes. Our room had nothing like that. However, when we called the front desk, they brought up a refrigerator immediately. They also provided the cot right away too. The staff was very accommodating and the room was very nice. Not the better of the Hilton hotels but I would stay again.

We had a wonderful customer service before with Doubletree Hotels, we decided to book online the hotel with credit card security, we stayed 14 nights, very much regret this decision. It turns out they charged us for our last night an extra day! We got the price (booked through Doubletree website for up until check out) and now there is an extra day charge on our visa card!(Our bill ends on 2/14/2013 and + a day balance, on our booking the bill ends at 2/15/2013, very dishonest and did not honor reservation!)

The hotel itself is okay, lobby was very nice the room itself was average ...but it was clean.The cleaning staff came in without knocking on our last day, I think they were confused with our booking. I am really very upset about this unexplained extra charge, really disappointed.At this point, would not return to the Doubletree Hotels.

ps: The last 7 days I called twice, missing a pair of walking shoes and no direct person to talk to, and NOBODY returns my phone call.

After 3 desperate attempts at other hotels I decided to go to the doubletree as I have had very positive experiences with the one in Mahwah,NJ. the price was very steep per night but we were desperate and this was our last choice. Yesenia at the front desk tried to do all she could when she heard of what we experienced in the last 24 hours. room was nice, pillows were kinda small, bathroom was ok although shower pressure was very low. had difficulty with the TV remote,had to wave it in midair to change channels. the air in the room wasnt very good quality but I didnt want to switch rooms as I figured it would be the same in any other room as well. the hallway had a terrible mold smell that was continuosly masked by powder during the morning hours. as it wore off it returned and was really bad. the shuttle service is awesome. takes u to the beach,restaurants etc. up to 5 mile radius. Breakfast wasnt great I have had better. its also the same every day. the waitresses stared into our faces while we were eating. one of them was busy on her phone most of the time we were there (about 1 hour plus) we were very uncomfortable! I think its ridiculous when they come over with a check even when u have breakfast vouchers and ask for gratuity when all they do is serve you coffee!!! very disappointing!!
the bartenders at the restaurant were super friendly,warm,welcoming and know how to mix a mean drink!!
pool: eventhough they say it is heated the water was cold every night
hot tub: awesome especially since the weather was terrible and we kept warm there :)
thank you Jefferey for making us laugh and for being so nice!
last but not least: a heartfelt thank you to FREDDIE for fixing our stuffed toilet in your formal attire,for the laughs,kindness and going above and beyond and not doing something because it is required but because you truly care about people!! we really appreciate it and will always remember it!
i only gave this hotel a "3" because of the air quality and the breakfast!

if ever in the area again i would stay at this hotel if given a better rate!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights after getting a good price on Priceline. The room was on the small side but well-appointed quiet and comfortable. On the minus side was the fact that there was little dresser storage as the unit that was supposed to hold a mini-fridge had been converted into a dresser with shelves instead of drawers. The shelves meant we had to get down on our knees to reach into the back of the shelves. We could have also used a light in the hallway. It was so dark we couldn't see into the back of closet to read the instructions on the safe. According to the in-room hotel brochure, the hotel was "right next door" to running and jogging trails. When I asked at the front desk about the trails the desk person looked at me blankly and said, "I have no idea!"

I usually stay North in West Palm Beach or South in Fort Lauderdale. Needed a more central hotel and tried this DoubleTree. I thought the staff was great and helpful and my room was clean and neat.

I do agree thought, please put a fridge in the rooms!

We upgraded to this hotel when we returned from a 2 day cruise. What a great choice! After staying at the Inverrary Resort and eating at the Ramada, this place was amazing. Customer service was excellent! The food and bar were great. The rooms were very clean. Bedding was very nice. Some of the nicest I have had in most hotels. Pool area was good as well. The shuttle service to Deere Field Beach is a terrific service. Parking is hard to find and expensive. The restaurants in Deere Field are wonderful. We did not know about this place. A local had told us about it. Overall good experience.

A wonderful and helpful staff should be noted first, The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The team at the front desk are top drawer and deserve recognition. We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise and a third night before our return trip home. Everyone was so nice and very accommodating. We were made to feel welcome and the cookie you receive upon check in is a great touch. I love the linens and the Honey / Coriander bathroom amenities in the room.

Room Tip: third floor rooms are quieter
