“Homemade food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

This restaurant is across the street from the hotels at Daytona Beach. It is one of the businesses in a very small strip mall. It is owned by two brothers. Their parents help out, as well. The place is open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is comprehensive. There are so many comfort foods on it! I had the sloppy joes and they were absolutely delicious. My Mom had an egg salad sandwich and it was packed with salad. There is cole slaw available, as well as potato salad. Desserts are homemade. The restaurant was packed with customers and the waitresses were friendly and helpful. The service was quick.

“Old-Fashioned Diner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

This place is fantastic! Don't be fooled by the exterior, or the line-up outside, the staff, and food are excellent. They're not kidding when they say they have "diner style - wow sized portions" and the owner personally shakes your hand and thanks you for coming. What a nice family-owned restaurant.

“just pulled in and took a chance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Our place that we normally eat breakfast was just to crowded. So we decided (not knowing ANYTHING about this place) to pull in and give it a try. We lucked up on our tiiming because this place is small and gets packed FAST. Best thing we have done in years of trip to Daytona. (as far as food picks go.) This will be added to our list. Try the Apple Fritters. Our families only complaint was my 11 year old daughter that wondered why her O.J. didnt come in a fancy glass like the lady beside us. I had to explain to her that wasnt just O.J. in her glass hahahahah!!!!

“One Stop Mom and Pop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

This is the definition of a small operating restaurant. Info on the table said it was owned by two brothers and their parents are often there helping out.

Our server, a younger female with brown and blonde hair was great. The check said her name was Dolly. The food was awesome and really reasonably priced. She recommended my entree and overall just a wonderful place.

If you like the mom and pop small guy places this is your spot for breakfast or lunch.
