Older hotel but rIght on the beach. The front desk staff were friendly. Room did not have working shower and dId have but 2 wash rags and 2 hand towels and when we called for more and couldnt get because "house keeping staff gadgets gone home". An inexpensive place to stay on the ocean.

Staff was super and the room was great. Pool was clean and easy access to the beach will be bringing us back whenever we get away to Daytona. Free coffee and bagels or sweet rolls for breakfast was a nice touch too. We'll be back!!

This a great vacation spot for all kinds of families. they have a great pool, fun for kids and adults, and a awesome pool deck where you can relax and tan. I am very confident I will come back here in the near future!!!

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the beach are a better size for a family. They are more than the other rooms bu...

Pictures do lie, no wifi continental breakfast was little debbies, if you wanted soap or shampoo you had to ask most of the time and I rented 2 rooms for 6 nights you couldn't even move in the rooms no place to put anything no vanity or anything beds were small , when we got there one room was ready but the other they said wasn't but there were empty rooms and i had these rooms reservered for months when they cleaned the rooms they left your door open and they just kinda wondered around anyone could have walked in and out with anything after seeing that my valuables were kept locked in the car;and lets talk about the wet paint they were painting the window trim and didn't put signs up so needless to say my hubbys new shirt was covered in wet brown paint and when we told them they said oh i guess i should put signs ups a little late i think and the office closes down after hours so if you needed something you had to call them and when we went to check out we had to wait inorder to get a receipt would i stay there again not on your life sorry but bad is bad and this place is just plain bad

I cant even describe the experience I had at this wonderful hotel. I got so much more for the price I paid, the employees were amazing, and the rooms were the cleanest i have seen in a while. The breakfast and office area just wanted me to come back next time and stay longer. Awesomeness is the word to describe this hotel. This is also a great hotel for family's, and the pool is perfect for kids. If you want to go to Daytona Beach, this is the place to stay at!!!

When i first saw this hotel on the web it was a beautiful right on the beach and rooms looked clean and well maintained. But upon arrival the location was nothing like the pictures portrayed to be. The rooms were far from clean the first room was so flithy that you would think someone just got done playing in the mud and walked all over the couch and beds prior to us checking in. Plus the room was located in a dark corner that smelled just like pee. They moved us into 108 but when they seen my friend drop me and my wife off the told us my friend could not stay unless they had a room. He actually told us that they had to be gone by a certain time otherwise we all had to leave. I stay up late and around 2am i called to get the front desk to see if they could fix the remote because the spring was broke and they just reprogrammed it instead of replacing it which later called problems. When we left the room and came back the room was half cleaned and we had missing and broken property when told the front desk it got pushed under the rug. When we tried to pay for the room for the fourth day they called us soo many racial slurs (we are black) and told us in order for us to get any help with our property we had to call the police. When i did the lady at the front christina approched him and told him something about us that we could not hear that made us look like the bad people. So the police continued with the racial slurs and didnt even allow us to make a report or even let us tell our side of the story. So i left with no hotel to go to at that moment with a broken laptop and charger and missing property. And im unsure if the econo lodge next door is owned by the same person but we were told that we couldnt stay due to what just happen at the rodeway inn( we did not tell them what happened) they didnt even allow us time to find a hotel before kicking us off their property by saying he didnt like our kind we crossed the street to get shade and the same person from the econo lodge came over and say that was their property as well nd had to leave so please be careful staying at the econo lodge due to the fact that if they are own and/or operated by the rodeway inn then u may have the worst stay of your life if u are of my kind as they say and those who are not it still may not be a good stay or a good choice of hotel.
